The Cabanatuan District Jail Male Dormitory expresses its sincere appreciation to Scrubbed.Net Global Inc. and Couples for Christ for their generous donation of a handwashing and drinking station, as well as Jollibee meals for the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), during the turnover ceremony held at the Cabanatuan District Jail Male Dormitory. This meaningful act of generosity reflects their commitment to promoting health, sanitation, and the overall well-being of the PDLs and personnel.

The donated handwashing and drinking station will greatly support the facility's efforts in maintaining proper hygiene practices and providing access to clean drinking water, contributing to a healthier and safer environment within the jail. Likewise, the distribution of Jollibee meals brought joy and encouragement to the PDLs, making the occasion more memorable and uplifting.

Present during the occasion was JINSP PAULINO F DELA CRUZ, Chief Security and Control, who conveyed the facility's gratitude and appreciation to the donors for their kindness and unwavering support. The 𝐂𝐋𝐒𝐔 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬/𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 generously donated 1,000 pieces of tilapia fingerlings at the Tilapia Breeding Nucleus Area to the Cabanatuan District Jail Male Dormitory. This donation aims to support the jail's aquaculture and livelihood initiatives, contributing to sustainable food production and skills development for the persons deprived of liberty.

Following the successful conduct of Brigada Eskwela 2026, the Cabanatuan District Jail – Male Dormitory continued its commitment to community service and educational support through its Adopt-a-School Program at Calikid Norte Elementary School.

The activity featured the Read-a-Book Program and a Feeding Program, both aimed at enhancing the pupils’ reading skills and supporting their nutritional well-being. Through these initiatives, the personnel helped promote literacy, healthy living, and positive values among the students, creating a more encouraging and conducive learning environment.

The program was conducted under the guidance and full support of𝐉𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐄𝐃𝐖𝐈𝐍 𝐆 𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐎, 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧, The activity was made possible through the collective efforts and dedication of the personnel of this jail unit.

The Cabanatuan District Jail Male Dormitory (CDJMD) actively participated in Brigada Eskwela 2026 with the theme 𝘚𝘈𝘔𝘈 𝘚𝘈𝘔𝘈 𝘗𝘈𝘙𝘈 𝘚𝘈 𝘉𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘗𝘢𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯: 𝘕𝘢𝘨𝘬𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘒𝘢𝘢𝘺𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘒𝘢𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘯 at Calikid Elementary School, demonstrating its commitment to community service and support for education. The activity was conducted in collaboration with the school's teachers, parents, and the barangay officials of Barangay Kalikid Norte, headed by Hon. Manny T. Quitan.

The Graduation Program of Kasanayan 1 Baking was successfully conducted by the Vocational Industrial and Technological Education Department of the NEUST Graduate School at the Cabanatuan District Jail. The program marked the culmination of a skills-training initiative aimed at equipping Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) with practical baking knowledge and competencies that can contribute to their rehabilitation, personal development, and future livelihood opportunities.

The activity was headed by Dr. Ofelia M. Bawan, Project Leader, with the support and guidance of Dr. Marivic N. Villegas, Director of the Extension Services Department, together with the dedicated Training Management Team. Their collective efforts ensured the successful implementation of the training program and graduation ceremony.

Present during the event were 𝐉𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐄𝐃𝐖𝐈𝐍 𝐆 𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐎, 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐉𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐋𝐄𝐘 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐊 𝐃𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐃, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧, whose support and encouragement highlighted the importance of educational and livelihood programs within the correctional facility.

Through the Kasanayan 1 Baking Program, participants gained valuable skills that can help them become productive members of society and prepare them for future opportunities upon reintegration into their communities.

𝙿𝚛𝚘𝚝𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚁𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚜, 𝙿𝚛𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙰𝚋𝚞𝚜𝚎: 𝙰 𝚜𝚎𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚊𝚛 𝚘𝚗 𝚁𝙰 𝟿𝟽𝟺𝟻

A seminar entitled “Protecting Rights, Preventing Abuse: A Seminar on RA 9745” was conducted by the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) Region III at Cabanatuan District Jail. The activity aimed to raise awareness about Republic Act No. 9745, also known as the Anti-Torture Act of 2009, and to promote the protection of human rights within jail facilities.

The seminar was facilitated by Mr. Norberto C. Fontillas, Special Investigator III of CHR, who discussed the important provisions of the law and emphasized the responsibility of both personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) in upholding human rights and preventing abuse.

The activity was actively participated in by 𝐉𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐋𝐄𝐘 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐊 𝐃𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐃, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧, together with personnel of the unit, and PDLs. The seminar reinforced the commitment of Cabanatuan District Jail to maintain a safe, humane, and rights-based environment for everyone within the facility.

The activity was headed by JINSP LEY MARTIAL K DAVID, Assistant District Jail Warden together with the personnel of male dormitory with the guidance and support of 𝙅𝘾𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙋 𝙀𝘿𝙒𝙄𝙉 𝙂 𝘽𝙐𝙇𝘼𝙏𝘼𝙊, 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙅𝙖𝙞𝙡 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣

This attendance highlighted the commitment of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in fostering unity, discipline, and strong partnership with the local government of Cabanatuan City.
