Creative Industries Mapping Survey in Nueva Ecija
The Department of Trade and Industry Region III Nueva Ecija, in partnership with the Provincial Tourism Office of Nueva Ecija, is conducting a province-wide survey to map creative industry stakeholders.
This initiative supports evidence-based planning, tourism development, and the implementation of the Philippine Creative Industries Development Act (PCIDA)—strengthening support for creatives through improved access to financing, markets, capacity-building, and partnerships.

The Dept. of Trade & Industry (DTI) Nueva Ecija, in partnership with SM Prime Holdings, Inc. through SM City Cabanatuan, conducted a Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Workshop on May 21, 2026, with 30 participants composed of mall tenants and DTI-assisted MSMEs.
The activity, facilitated by Dr. Debbyriza T. Hidalgo of DTI, aimed to strengthen the resilience of the MSME sector in Nueva Ecija by equipping participants with operational risk management strategies and practical knowledge on how to respond to and recover from disruptions.

DTI-Nueva Ecija thru Negosyo Center SM City conducts a production site visit and provided business consultancy to two local enterprises in Cabanatuan City: Mala Macau in Barangay D.S. Garcia (May 14,2026) and Pannimaree Food Products in Barangay Magsaysay District (May 15,2026).
During the visit, DTI introduced various programs and services relevant to enhancing their products and operations. These include product development, business mentoring, market linkage, Intellectual Property Rights registrations, and DTI-YEP programs.
Pannimaree Food Products also received guidance from DTI in preparation for the renovation of its production area, a key step toward its planned FDA application. The support aims to help ensure compliance with food safety standards and enhance operational efficiency.
