GAD IS ABOUT UNDERSTANDING PEOPLE.

β€œGender is something that affects our everyday lives. It can influence how we communicate, how we treat one another, the opportunities we are given, the responsibilities we carry at home and at work, and even the expectations that society places on us.”

In his message during the 2026 Gender and Development (GAD) Capacity-Building and Staff Development: A Learning Session on Gender Analysis, OIC Regional Director Emmanuel G. Toledo emphasized the importance of fostering greater understanding, respect, fairness, and inclusivity in the workplace and in our everyday interactions.
