On September 24, 2026, a successful Healthy Young Ones and Mental Health Symposium was conducted at the DSWD that aimed at promoting awareness, understanding, and support for the physical and mental well-being of our young people.✨

We extend our sincere appreciation to our dedicated speakers who shared their knowledge, experiences, and valuable insights: Kagawad May Ann Jacob, Ms Demae Abegail Cloma, RN, Ma’am Mae Cloma, Midwife II, Ma’am Flordeluna Yañez, PHN, Dr. Lorraine Neri, Community Doctor.

We also express our heartfelt gratitude to Ma’am Beverly Aradilla, Sir Neco Baang, and our Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) for their assistance and support in making the symposium meaningful and successful.

Together, let us continue to promote a community where our young people are healthy, informed, confident, and supported—physically, emotionally, and mentally.💙

𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗻𝗲𝘀: 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲!✨

Today, September 11, 2026, the Healthy Young Ones activity was successfully conducted at Philippine Island Kids Foundation (PIKIFI). The activity was made possible through the support and efforts of dedicated resource speakers and health personnel from the Canitoan Health Center.

We are grateful to Ma’am Mae Cloma-Midwife II, Ma’am Flordeluna Yañez-PHN, Ms Demae Abegail Cloma, Ms Wendee Tumulak, and Kagawad May Ann Jacob for sharing their valuable knowledge and insights with our young participants.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to Sir Neco Baang-NDP, Ma’am Beverly Aradilla-Midwife II, and our Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) for their assistance and support throughout the activity.

A big thank you to the Canitoan Health Center, the dedicated social workers of PIKIFI, and Ma’am Juvy Naguita for making this meaningful activity possible.

Most importantly, we commend the 33 adolescents who actively participated and took the time to listen, learn, and engage in the symposium. May the knowledge you gained inspire you to make healthy, informed, and positive choices for yourselves and your future.✨
