ABAMIN Party-list Cong. Maxie Rodriguez met one-on-one with Department of Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez, to discuss key projects for transportation across various regions in Mindanao.

Also present were Timothy John Batan, Cavite 1st District Congressman Ramon โ€œJoloโ€ Revilla III, 2nd District of Northern Samar Congressman Edwin Ongchuan, Philippine Ports Authority Manager Jay Santiago, and other transportation officials to discuss key infrastructure priorities for Mindanao.

Cong. Maxie requested additional ports in Misamis Oriental, including Laguindingan, El Salvador City, and Balingasag, as well as port development in other parts of Mindanao.

He also discussed the possible engagement of foreign financial partners for the construction of the Mindanao Railway, including a potential partnership with an Indian company.

Through constant meetings and coordination with national government agencies, ABAMIN Partylist remains committed in working for more projects to be implemented in Mindanao.

Before the busy streets and modern rides, the Tartanilla was a simple way of getting around Iligan City. Over time, it became part of the cityโ€™s story and heritage.

Gipadayon ni Cagayan de Oro 2nd District Representative Cong. Rufus B. Rodriguez ang House Bill No. 5616 nga nagtumong sa paghimo og Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DFAR). Gihisgutan ang bill sa joint meeting sa Committees on Aquaculture and Fisheries Resources ug Government Reorganization.

Pinaagi sa DFAR, mas mapalig-on ang pagdumala, pagpanalipod, pag-develop ug pag-conserve sa atong fisheries ug aquatic resources. Ang municipal waters magpabilin ubos sa jurisdiction sa lokal nga panggamhanan.

Sa motion ni Cong. Rodriguez, gi-aprobahan sa duha ka komite ang unnumbered substitute bill nga nag-consolidate sa mga susamang measures. Ubos sa proposal, ang BFAR mahimong regular nga departamento nga adunay kompletong personnel ug mas dako nga budget para mas mapalig-on ang fisheries sector.
