“Every individual who chooses to lay down arms is a step toward safer communities and a more peaceful Eastern Visayas. We will support lawful reintegration efforts while remaining firm in our duty to protect the public and uphold the rule of law,” PGEN Nartatez said.
The PNP Chief likewise underscored the importance of giving those who return to the fold of the law an opportunity to rebuild their lives.
“May pagkakataon ang bawat isa na piliin ang kapayapaan. Ang mahalaga ay ang pagtalikod sa karahasan at ang pagsisimula ng bagong buhay kasama ang pamilya at komunidad,” he added.
As the PNP strengthens peace and public safety efforts in communities affected by local armed conflict under the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., it assures the public of “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman.”
