Calamba City Justice Zone Strategic Implementation Planning Workshop (September 16-18, 2026) at Hotel Marciano

The European Union-Governance in Justice Programme (EU-GOJUST) and the Justice Sector Coordinating Council (JSCC) organized this workshop to assist CaCJZ in the development of their strategic implementation plans. Through this workshop, CaCJZ plans were revisited and enhanced to ensure alignment with the JZ strategic framework.

𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐄𝐂/𝐂𝐒𝐀𝐄𝐌 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞

On September 03, 2026, a successful orientation seminar on Republic Act No. 11930 (Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children and Anti-Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Materials Act) was held at the Jose Rizal Coliseum, Calamba City, Laguna.

Initiated by the Calamba City Justice Zone in collaboration with the Cultural Affairs, Tourism, and Sports Development Office of Calamba City, the program aimed to strengthen child protection frameworks and foster a safer, more compliant local tourism environment.

The session brought together key stakeholders from across the city, including resort owners, pool agents, flaggers, and barangay officials to enhance awareness and reinforce compliance protocols within the sector. We extend our gratitude to all participants and organizers for their dedication to promoting child safety and maintaining legal compliance throughout Calamba City.

The Calamba City Justice Zone, in collaboration with the Department of Education, Division of Calamba City successfully conducted an orientation on Republic Act No. 11930, or the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) Act, on September 1, 2026.

The activity brought together 660 students from Jose Rizal Memorial School, Calamba City, providing them with essential knowledge on online safety, child protection, and the importance of recognizing, preventing, and reporting online sexual abuse and exploitation.

This initiative underscores the commitment of the Calamba City Justice Zone and its partner agencies to educate, protect, and empower children and young people in navigating the digital world safely and responsibly.
