𝐃𝐇𝐒𝐔𝐃 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐕-𝐀 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐇𝐒𝐔𝐃𝐂𝐂 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠⁣

The Regional Human Settlements and Urban Development Coordinating Committee (RHSUDCC) Region IV-A convened its 3rd Quarter Meeting on September 30, 2026. Hosted by the National Housing Authority Region 4 Office, the event brought together member agencies to present key projects and milestones as well as highlighting ongoing efforts to strengthen sustainable urban development and stronger inter-agency collaboration.⁣

Member agencies likewise presented their respective accomplishment reports, showcasing both completed and challenges faced in implementing housing and shelter programs. Updates on the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Program (4PH) and other housing initiatives were also discussed during the meeting.⁣

The meeting was spearheaded by Assistant Secretary Atty. Johnson V. Domingo, Acting Regional Director of DHSUD R4A and the RHSUDCC Chairperson. He was joined by Assistant Regional Director Joselito F. Melchor, the Division Chiefs of DHSUD R4A and representatives of various key shelter agencies-namely the National Housing Authority (NHA), Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC), National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation (NHMFC), Human Settlements Adjudication Commission (HSAC), and the Home Development Mutual Fund (PAG-IBIG Fund).⁣

The Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev) Regional Office IV-A, in collaboration with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) IV-A, the League of Local Planning and Development Coordinators of the Philippines, Inc. (LLPDCPI) Region IV-A, and UPLB Department of Community and Environmental Resource Planning (DCERP), spearheads the 2026 CALABARZON Regional Planners’ Forum with the theme, “Empowering Local Planners through Innovative, Data-Driven, and Energy-Efficient Approaches for Urban Climate Action.”

This two-day event gathers planners, local officials, and development practitioners for learning sessions on smart planning systems, energy and climate resilience, climate finance, and local government best practices, fostering more responsive, sustainable, and climate-informed urban development.

Regular operations will resume on 29 September 2026 (Tuesday).
