Lecheria Integrated School joined the observance of **Global Handwashing Day yesterday, October 15**, reinforcing the importance of proper handwashing in keeping our school community healthy, safe, and protected from preventable illnesses. 🏫✨

Handwashing with soap and clean water may be a simple act, but it makes a big difference! By practicing proper hand hygiene, we help prevent the spread of germs and build healthy habits that our learners can carry beyond the classroom. 🫧💙

This meaningful activity reminds us that safety is everyone's responsibility. By promoting awareness, preparedness, and a culture of prevention, we can help create a school environment where every learner and personnel feels safe, protected, and ready to learn. 🤝💙

Not All Wounds Can Be Seen by the Naked Eye 💙

Paano kung ang simpleng pakikinig ay makakatulong upang mailigtas ang isang taong tahimik na lumalaban?

Dumalo ang mga piling opisyal ng SSLG, YES-O, BKD, at SPTA sa Mental Health Forum na ginanap noong Setyembre 19, 2026 sa Jose Rizal Coliseum. Bilang bahagi ng inisyatiba ni Cong. Cha Hernandez, nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang mga mag-aaral na makinig sa makabuluhang pagbabahagi ni Ms. Maxene Magalona tungkol sa kanyang mga pinagdaanan, hamon, at tagumpay sa pagharap sa mental at emosyonal na depresyon.

Kasama rin sa mga dumalo ang mga student-leaders mula sa iba't ibang paaralan sa Lungsod ng Calamba, na nagkaisa upang palawakin ang kamalayan at pag-unawa sa kahalagahan ng mental health. Ang gawaing ito ay nagsilbing paalala na ang bawat isa ay may pinagdaraanan, at ang pag-unawa, pakikinig, at pagmamalasakit ay maaaring maging unang hakbang tungo sa paghilom. ✨🫶

The session on ILAW Lesson Planning reminded us that effective lesson planning is more than preparing activities—it is about intentional, learner-centered, and responsive teaching.
