The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) Region IV-A CALABARZON, in collaboration with BLGF Region III, BLGF MIMAROPA, and the Capacity Building Division of the BLGF Central Office, successfully conducted the 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 (𝗣𝗩𝗦) 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 on March 11–13, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.

The activity gathered Local Assessors, Assistant Assessors, and technical staff to strengthen their knowledge and steadfast commitment to the application of the updated Philippine Valuation Standards aligned with international valuation practices, in order to promote transparency and reliability of property valuations.

A special message was delivered by BLGF Executive Director Consolacion Q. Agcaoili, emphasizing the importance of strengthening valuation standards and promoting uniform property valuation to support effective local government finance administration nationwide.

In celebration of National Women’s Month, BLGF CALABARZON held a screening of an inspiring women’s life story followed by a fun and energizing Zumba session. 💃🎬

The activity aimed to promote health and unity while recognizing the strength, resilience, and valuable contributions of women in our society.

This Bureau continues to support women empowerment and recognizes the important role of women in our communities. As we celebrate Women’s Month, we remain committed to promoting equality, respect, and opportunities for women.

This Bureau extends its profound gratitude to our dedicated local treasurers and budget officers for their unwavering commitment in ensuring the timely compliance of the FY2025 Q4 Statement of Receipts and Expenditures (SRE) Reports submitted through the LIFT System.

We also express our deep appreciation to the BLGF Regional Offices for their steadfast support in coordinating and assisting the LGUs through difficulties in report submission.

We acknowledge that our shared responsibility continues as we enter the crucial phase of validating and ensuring the accuracy of all submitted SRE reports.

The BLGF CALABARZON in coordination with City Government of Santa Rosa, conducted a three-day activity on March 9–11, 2026, aimed at assisting local government units in reviewing and updating their Local Revenue Code and rationalizing local fees and charges to further strengthen local revenue generation and fiscal management.

The Bureau extends its appreciation to the City Government of Santa Rosa, including 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗔𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗕. 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀, City Mayor; 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗕. 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀, City Vice Mayor; and 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼 𝗠. 𝗥𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘇𝗮 𝗝𝗿., City Administrator, as well as to all participating Department Heads with their technical staff for their active participation during the activity.

BLGF Calabarzon recognizes the successful conduct of the activity held on March 4–6, 2026 in Calatagan, Batangas, in coordination with ARIVATAS, Inc. Batangas Chapter.

The workshop aimed to strengthen local revenue generation and enhance fiscal management among LGUs.

We also acknowledge the active participation of the local government units of Padre Garcia, San Pascual, and Taysan, ARIVATAS Officials (Batangas Chapter), and the support of the Municipal Government of Calatagan led by Mayor Rico Puno. Together, we remain committed to promoting sound fiscal management and building stronger, more resilient LGUs.
