The Occupational Safety and Health Center – Regional Extension Unit IV-A is now offering a 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗕𝗢𝗦𝗛 𝗦𝗢𝟭 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 on September 8, 2026 (Tuesday).
Limited slots only.

We will 𝗡𝗢𝗧 accept the following:
🚫Unemployed registrants
🚫More than 2 registrants per company
🚫 Registrants who do not meet the minimum technological requirements
🚫 Establishments classified as potentially high-risk

Participants are required to use:
📌 Either a laptop or desktop with an internal/external we**am and microphone. (mobile phones or tablets are not allowed)
📌Spreadsheet and presentation viewing/editing programs such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Numbers, Keynote, etc.
📌 A stable internet connection is recommended (Fiber Wi-Fi preferred; LTE minimum for mobile broadband users). A daily data allowance of at least 8GB for those using prepaid mobile data.

Please be advised on the Online Training Etiquette we observe:
📌Wear decent attire for the whole day broadcast of your we**am
📌Be respectful when interacting with everyone
📌Be punctual

✅ If a company registers two participants, use a different email address for each
✅ Wait for the confirmation email to know if you are qualified for the FREE Online BOSH for SO1 training.
✅ Check your email for a notification of approval or denial.

If 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝, the email will contain details on how to join the training and other
reminder.

If 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐝, the reason may include:
📌Full slots
📌Company requires 40-hr BOSH/COSH or MOSH (SO2-certification or higher)
📌Failure to meet technological requirements
📌More than 2 participants per company
📌Unemployed registrant
📌Company is not based in the Philippines
📌OH personnel (Doctors or Nurses) should train with PCOM or OHNAP

Aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directives to prioritize the welfare and protection of Filipino workers, the Department of Labor and Employment reminds workers who might suffer job-related injuries caused by bad weather conditions are entitled to a comprehensive range of benefits and support services under the Employees’ Compensation (EC) Program of the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC), designed to safeguard their health and financial security.

With inclement weather heightening risks across the country, ECC Executive Director Atty. Kaima Via B. Velasquez highlighted the Commission's commitment to covering workers exposed to rain-related hazards or weather-related commuting accidents.

DOLE CALABARZON EXTENDS APPRECIATION TO ARD NICANOR V. BON

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) CALABARZON extends its heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to outgoing Assistant Regional Director Nicanor V. Bon for his committed service, steadfast leadership, and invaluable contributions to the Region.

During his tenure, ARD Bon exemplified professionalism, dedication, and genuine concern for the welfare of DOLE CALABARZON personnel, as well as the workers, employers, and stakeholders whom the Department serves. His leadership and guidance have contributed significantly to the effective implementation and delivery of DOLE programs, projects, and services throughout CALABARZON.

Beyond his administrative and leadership responsibilities, ARD Bon played a valuable role in fostering a culture of teamwork, strengthening collaboration among offices and personnel, and encouraging everyone to uphold the Department’s mandate with integrity, excellence, and a strong sense of public service.

His presence and leadership have left a meaningful mark on the DOLE CALABARZON family. The lessons, values, and example he shared throughout his service will continue to inspire personnel as the Department moves forward in fulfilling its commitment to workers and stakeholders across the region.

As he takes on new opportunities and challenges, DOLE CALABARZON expresses its sincere gratitude for his years of dedicated service and meaningful contributions. While we bid him farewell in his current capacity, we remain grateful for the time, leadership, and commitment he shared with the Region.
