To the entire community, dedicated leaders, generous sponsors, and valued guests, aming taos-pusong pasasalamat po sa inyong lahat! Our hearts are full of gratitude for the immense success of our Grand Fiesta 2026 in Barangay Calanaga, Rapu-Rapu, Albay, held last August 14 to 16, 2026. This unforgettable celebration was made possible through the unified effort, passion, and support of so many hardworking individuals and organizations.
First and foremost, we offer our deepest gratitude to the Almighty God for blessing us with good weather, safety, and continuous guidance throughout our three-day celebration. Special thanks go to our Barangay Council and SK Council for their tireless leadership and seamless organization, as well as to our Municipal Mayor Romel Galicia and Vice Mayor Tom Eivandick Galicia for their unwavering support and presence. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the PNP personnel for providing police assistance and to our reliable Barangay Tanods for maintaining peace, order, and security to keep all residents and guests safe.
Our sport events were a massive success thanks to the incredible team and performers behind the scenes. Big thanks to Ricky Lucero, Jay M. Balingbing, and Andrey Cervantes, the core team who made the Calanaga Basketball League 2026 possible through their hard work and dedication. A massive congratulations to Team Quatro Boleros, Team Iraya, Team MB Camille, Team Calanaga Defenders, Team Batang Pier, and Team San Isidro for putting on an outstanding show of talent, grit, and sportsmanship on the court! We also extend our warmest appreciation to the lovely muses of each basketball team who brought beauty, grace, and morale to their respective squads.
Heartfelt gratitude goes out to the faculty members of Calanaga Elementary School for their invaluable support, as well as to the talented kids who delighted everyone by showcasing their amazing dancing talent during the festivities. Special thanks also go to our esteemed panel of judges for their time, expert evaluation, and fair decisions, as well as to the working committee and dedicated referees of the entire game for their smooth management.
We extend our deepest appreciation to our generous sponsors of the Calanaga Basketball League 2026—Hon. Retchelle Bajaro, Hon. Samuel Batas, Hon. Benjie Oñate, and Hon. Vice Mayor Tom Eivandick Galicia—for backing our local athletes and fueling sportsmanship in our community. We also express our sincere thanks to Hon. Wilfredo Lucero for providing the dropwire and to Hon. Jenny Ebuenga for assisting with the electric supply, ensuring our venue was fully powered and prepared. Special thanks go to our court painter, Albert Vergara, for transforming our basketball court into a stunning artwork, and to our medal supplier for crafting the awards for our teams and players.
We are equally proud of the energetic Kabataan of Calanaga for their inspiring volunteer spirit and active participation. Finally, our nights were truly unforgettable thanks to GB Audio Tech from Bacacay, Albay for delivering top-tier sound and lights, and to our live band at the B**r Plaza for bringing fantastic music, high energy, and endless fun.
Thank you for bringing your warmth, joy, and community spirit to Barangay Calanaga. Viva, Barangay Calanaga! See you all at our next celebration!
