The Regional Development Council (RDC) MIMAROPA convened the Regional Legislative-Executive Advisory (LEA) Meeting with Congressional District Representatives of MIMAROPA and their Chiefs of Staff, Department of Budget and Management MIMAROPA, Regional Directors and representatives from 11 regional line agencies and local government units, and discussed the highlights of the RDC-endorsed FY 2027 priority programs and projects (PAPs) for the region. The activity aimed to facilitate inter-agency coordination and secure legislative support for the inclusion of these priority PAPs in the proposed General Appropriations Act for FY 2027.

The Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev), as the secretariat of the Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport (UPLIFT) Committee chaired by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., supports the launch of the UPLIFT Microsite. This initiative aims to strengthen whole-of-government coordination in addressing global economic challenges.

Amid the Middle East conflict and its impact on oil prices and supply chains, the UPLIFT Microsite provides timely and integrated information across key sectors includingโ€”energy, transport, food, and social protectionโ€”to support responsive and data-driven government interventions.

๐€๐“๐Œ: The ๐Ÿ๐ง๐ ๐๐ฎ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐ž๐ž (๐‘๐๐Œ๐‚) ๐Œ๐ž๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  is convening regional line agencies and local government partners to discuss the CY 2026 First Quarter RPMES Report, where 427 projects worth โ‚ฑ59.42 billion were reported by 28 implementing agencies; Updates on the Mindoro Island Circumferential Road and Mindoro Cross Island Road projects, as well as local project monitoring initiatives in MIMAROPA, are also being discussed to strengthen infrastructure development, coordination, and project implementation across the region.
