𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐍: Naitala ang 4.7 percent na unemployment rate sa bansa noong Abril 2026, mas mataas kumpara sa 4.1 percent na naiulat noong Abril 2025. Tumaas din sa 15.2 percent mula sa 14.6 percent ang underemployment rate.

Ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), ang pangunahing nag-ambag sa pagtaas ng unemployment rate ay ang agriculture and wholesale and retail trade.

Sa kabila nito, nadagdagan ang bilang ng mga Pilipinong may trabaho na umabot sa 48.89 million noong Abril 2026 mula sa 48.67 million noong Abril 2025.

Ayon kay DEPDev Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan, ipinapakita nito ang kakayahan at katatagan ng mga Pilipinong manggagawa sa kabila ng mga hamon sa ekonomiya.
