𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐍 | Mainit na tinanggap ngayong araw ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) MIMAROPA Region, sa pangunguna ni OIC Regional Director PBGen. Roderick D. Minong (Ret.), ang pagbisita ni LTFRB Region IV-B MIMAROPA Regional Director Enrico Moreno R. Bautista, MNSA.

Layunin ng nasabing pagpupulong ang higit pang pagpapatibay ng inter-agency collaboration sa rehiyon upang mapaigting ang epektibong pamamahala sa sektor ng transportasyon.

Binigyang-diin ng dalawang ahensya ang kahalagahan ng mabilis at maayos na palitan ng impormasyon, pinahusay na enforcement coordination, at pinagsamang aksyon laban sa mga ilegal na aktibidad sa kalsada. Muling tiniyak ng LTO ang buong suporta nito sa LTFRB sa mga inisyatibang naglalayong protektahan ang kapakanan at kaligtasan ng mga commuter.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | In line with the continuing efforts to strengthen public service delivery and ensure compliance with existing transportation laws and regulations, LTO Pinamalayan District Office conducted a plate distribution activity through the house-to-house delivery of replacement license plates. The initiative aimed to expedite the release of long-awaited replacement plates while providing motorists with a more convenient, accessible, and client-centered service. Through this undertaking, the Office further reinforced its commitment to promoting roadworthiness compliance, enhancing operational efficiency, and strengthening public trust and confidence in government services.

LTO Mamburao District Office successfully conducted a Road Safety Awareness Seminar at the Barangay Hall of Payompon, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro, with the participation of sixty (60) individuals composed of tricycle drivers, motorcycle riders, youth representatives, senior citizens, and other community residents.

In line with the directives of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., the Department of Transportation under Acting Secretary Giovanni Z. Lopez, and the Land Transportation Office headed by Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao, the activity was undertaken to further promote accessible government services and strengthen public awareness on road safety and responsible road use.

The seminar featured comprehensive discussions on traffic rules and regulations, defensive driving, and proper road discipline, followed by an interactive question-and-answer session to address participants’ concerns and clarify road safety issues. Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials were likewise distributed to reinforce the topics discussed during the activity.

Participants conveyed their appreciation for the initiative, emphasizing that the seminar greatly contributed to enhancing their awareness of road safety and deepening their commitment to becoming more responsible and law-abiding road users.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Road Safety Month ngayong buwan ng Mayo, ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) MIMAROPA – Boac District Office at Torrijos Extension Office ay nagsagawa ng Culminating Activity ngayong Huwebes, 28 Mayo 2026, sa Torrijos Covered Court, Torrijos, Marinduque.

Tampok sa programa ang lecture na “Road Safety as a Public Concern” mula sa Provincial DOH Office na kinatawanan nina Ms. Mary Asther S. Sadia, RN, at Ms. Apphia M. Monleon, RSW, na nagsagawa rin ng Hands-Only CPR lecture. Nagbigay rin ng mahahalagang paalala ang Torrijos Municipal Police Station, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Highway Patrol Group (HPG), at Philippine Information Agency (PIA) na kinatawan ni Mr. Dennis Nebrejo.

Dinaluhan din ang programa nina Vice Mayor Edmar Frias at Executive Assistant Joel Rey mula sa Office of the Mayor, na nagbigay ng mensahe ng pakikiisa at suporta para sa pagsusulong ng road safety. Ang mga kinatawan mula sa iba’t ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan, pribadong sektor, tricycle at jeepney drivers, kasama ang Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) – Marinduque, ay nagsagawa ng Driver’s Pledge at signing of commitment bilang pagpapakita ng sama-samang pagkilos tungo sa mas ligtas na kalsada.

Natapos ang programa sa pamamahagi ng token at t-shirt sa mga drivers at iba pang kinatawan bilang pagkilala sa kanilang mahusay at tapat na serbisyo. Katuwang ng LTO sa aktibidad na ito ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Marinduque sa pamumuno nina Gov. Melecio J. Go at Vice Governor Romulo A. Bacorro, Jr., gayundin ang Pamahalaang Lokal ng Torrijos sa pangunguna nina Mayor Joey P. Peñaflor at Vice Mayor Edmar F. Frias, bilang suporta sa mga programang pangkaligtasan sa lansangan.

Ang programang ito ay alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., DOTr Acting Secretary Giovanni Z. Lopez at LTO Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao, na isulong ang mga programa na naglalayong itaas ang kamalayan sa road safety, pagbutihin ang edukasyon ng mga motorista, at palawakin ang pakikipagtulungan sa iba’t ibang ahensya para sa mas ligtas na kalsada para sa lahat.

Bagama’t kilala si Takumi Fujiwara sa kanyang husay sa pagmamaneho, sa tunay na buhay, mas mahalaga ang maingat, responsable, at disiplinadong pagmamaneho upang maiwasan ang aksidente at mapanatiling ligtas ang bawat motorista at commuter.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | In line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to ensure that government services remain accessible, transparent, credible, and secure, and in support of the continuing initiatives of the Department of Transportation under the leadership of Acting Secretary Giovanni Z. Lopez and the Land Transportation Office headed by Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao, the LTO MIMAROPA Region, under the leadership of Acting Regional Director Francisco P. Ranches Jr., CESO VI, remains steadfast in its commitment to deliver efficient, responsive, and people-oriented public service.

As part of this continuing commitment, LTO MIMAROPA – Romblon District Office conducted plate distribution activity through house-to-house delivery of replacement license plates and friendly flag-down operations for motorists still using old plates. The activity was undertaken to expedite the distribution of long-awaited replacement plates, encourage compliance with existing laws and regulations, and ensure that motorists receive their official plates through a more convenient, accessible, and service-oriented approach.

In line with the continuing commitment of the Land Transportation Office to promote safer roads and responsible motorists, the LTO MIMAROPA Region, under the leadership of Acting Regional Director Francisco P. Ranches Jr., CESO VI, through the LTO Calapan District Office headed by Chief Merwyn C. Quitain, in partnership with the Highway Patrol Group (HPG), successfully conducted a Road Safety Awareness Seminar on May 21, 2026 at Sitio Villa Antonio, Barangay Navotas, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

The activity gathered fifty-eight (58) participants composed of tricycle drivers, motorcycle riders, youth, senior citizens, and barangay constituents, all united in supporting the advocacy for safer and more disciplined road use within the community.

Aligned with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to ensure that government services remain accessible, transparent, credible, and secure, and in support of the Department of Transportation (DOTr), headed by Acting Secretary Giovanni Z. Lopez, and the Land Transportation Office, led by Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao, the initiative reinforces ongoing efforts to elevate road safety awareness. The seminar highlighted key topics such as traffic laws and regulations, defensive driving techniques, and responsible road behavior, all aimed at reducing road incidents and fostering a stronger culture of discipline, safety, and accountability among motorists and pedestrians alike.

Personnel from the LTO Calapan District Office, together with Police Lieutenant Recaña of the Highway Patrol Group, facilitated discussions on road safety awareness, proper driving conduct, and compliance with transportation laws and regulations. An interactive Question-and-Answer portion was likewise conducted to encourage active participation and deepen the participants’ appreciation of the importance of road discipline and safety consciousness.

As part of the initiative, Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials on road safety and traffic awareness were distributed to participants to reinforce the knowledge and practical learnings shared during the seminar.

One participant also expressed sincere appreciation for the activity, sharing that the seminar greatly enhanced her awareness of road safety and underscored the importance of responsible driving practices in protecting lives and ensuring safer communities for all.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: Earlier this morning, LTO MIMAROPA Regional Office, together with District and Extension Offices, simultaneously conducted weekly Flag Raising Ceremony as a manifestation of unity, patriotism, discipline, and continued commitment to public service.

The ceremony served as an opportunity for officials and personnel to reaffirm the agency’s dedication to deliver efficient, responsive, and people-centered services throughout the MIMAROPA Region.

Following the ceremony, a Holy Mass was solemnly celebrated at LTO MIMAROPA Regional Office to offer prayers for guidance, wisdom, protection, and strength as the agency continues to fulfill its mandate with integrity and excellence. The spiritual gathering also emphasized the importance of faith, solidarity, and compassion in public service.

Through activities such as these, LTO MIMAROPA Region continues to strengthen camaraderie among personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and genuine service to the people.

Isinagawa ngayong umaga ang lingguhang Flag Raising Ceremony ng LTO MIMAROPA Regional Office kasama ang iba’t ibang District Offices at Extension Offices ng rehiyon, sa pangunguna nina LTO MIMAROPA Acting Regional Director Francisco P. Ranches, Jr., CESO VI at Assistant Regional Director Engr. Arturo R. Apolinar, katuwang ang mga empleyado ng opisina.

Naging daan ang seremonyang ito upang muling pagtibayin ang pagkakaisa, disiplina, at dedikasyon ng bawat empleyado sa patuloy na paghahatid ng mahusay, maagap, at makataong serbisyo publiko para sa mamamayan ng MIMAROPA.
