PNP CHIEF COMMENDS COLLABORATION IN SECURING PEACEFUL INC NATIONAL PEACE RALLY

The Philippine National Police (PNP) successfully ensured security and public safety during National Rally for Peace hosted by the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC)held at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila yesterday.

The rally, which began at 8:30 AM and concluded at 5:25 PM, saw an estimated 1.58 million participants, as reported by the Manila Public Information Office. The peaceful gathering was a reflection of the Iglesia ni Cristo's commitment to unity, peace, and public welfare.

A total of 5,500 PNP personnel were deployed to ensure the safety and orderliness of the event. The collaboration between the PNP, local government units, and the INC Medical Services proved effective, with a total of 1,162 individuals attended to at various health stations and INC field hospitals.

The event concluded without any untoward incidents, and participants began leaving the venue in an orderly manner, with the PNP continuing to oversee smooth dispersal and public safety operations.

Similar activities were held in 12 other key cities across the country.

PNP Chief, Police General Rommel Francisco D Marbil, commended the peaceful conduct of the rally and the cooperation between the police force and participants. He said, "The successful and harmonious ex*****on of the INC National Peace Rally exemplifies the power of collaboration and the shared commitment to maintaining peace in our communities. We are grateful for the cooperation of the Iglesia ni Cristo, our personnel, and the public. This event is a testament to what can be achieved when we work together for a peaceful and orderly society."

The PNP extends its gratitude to all those involved in ensuring the success of this significant event.
