Sa suporta at pamumuno ni 𝑴𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒐𝒓 𝑱𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒓 𝑴. 𝑪𝒓𝒖𝒛, katuwang si 𝑴𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒐𝒑𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒂𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒍 𝑽. 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒂, at sa pondong inilaan sa pamamagitan ng Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), mas napalakas ang kahandaan ng Pola sa paggamit ng community-based population data para sa mas epektibong pagpaplano, pagbubuo ng polisiya, at pagpapatupad ng mga programa.

Sa pamamagitan ng aktibidad na ito, nabigyan ang mga kalahok ng mahahalagang kaalaman at kasanayan sa pangangalap, pamamahala, at paggamit ng datos upang matukoy ang tunay na kalagayang demograpiko, masubaybayan ang migration patterns, at matugunan ang nagbabagong pangangailangan ng bawat barangay.

Higit pa sa isang registry system, ang 𝐑𝐁𝐈𝐌 ay mahalagang kasangkapan sa pagsusulong ng 𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐨, 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚-𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧, 𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞-𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞—tinitiyak na ang mga programa at interbensyon sa kaunlaran ay nakabatay sa tama, napapanahon, at makabuluhang impormasyon.

Maraming salamat, LGU Pola! Patuloy nating isulong ang pamamahalang nakabatay sa datos, nakatuon sa tao, at tumutugon sa tunay na pangangailangan ng bawat komunidad.

The Commission on Population and Development (CPD)- MIMAROPA successfully conducted the 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚-𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 on 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟗–𝟐𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝟏𝟎𝟏+ 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥, 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚, 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲.

The three-day training gathered LGU partners and CPD personnel to strengthen one shared goal: to turn population and development data into policies, programs, and services that respond to the real needs of people and communities.

With invited resource person, 𝑴𝒓. 𝑹𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒐 𝑨. 𝑳𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒏, participants were guided through key sessions on problem identification, situational analysis, policy agenda setting, political management, local legislative advocacy, stakeholder engagement, advocacy planning, and ordinance and resolution drafting.

The program also featured hands-on workshops where participants analyzed regional POPDEV concerns, conducted political mapping, developed advocacy strategies, and drafted policy instruments on priority issues such as adolescent pregnancy, migration, ageing, RBIM institutionalization, and the establishment of local Population and Development Offices.

More than a training on policy writing, the activity became a space for reflection, collaboration, and commitment. It reminded participants that policy work is not only technical—it is also relational. It requires data, but also trust. It requires evidence, but also champions. It requires good drafting, but also sustained advocacy and political will.

As a follow-through, participants committed to submit their Post-Training Action Plans to ensure that the learning outputs are refined, localized, and translated into concrete policy actions in their respective LGUs and offices.

Together, we move from data to action, advocacy to policy, and policy to people-centered development.

The Commission on Population and Development MIMAROPA joined the Second Quarter Meeting of the Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGADC) held today, May 21, 2026, via Zoom, together with regional stakeholders advancing gender-responsive and inclusive development in MIMAROPA.

During the meeting, CPD MIMAROPA presented updates on the adolescent pregnancy situation in the region, emphasizing the need for sustained, data-driven, and multi-sectoral interventions to protect adolescents, strengthen family and community support systems, and ensure access to age-appropriate information and services.

The discussion also covered updates on the 2026 National Women’s Month celebration, the HIV situation in MIMAROPA, PCW Advisory No. 2026-001, and GAD best practices from the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro.

CPD MIMAROPA remains committed to supporting gender-responsive policies and programs that uphold the rights, health, and well-being of adolescents and young people.
