Sa ginanap na flag ceremony ng City Government of Calapan ngayong araw na pinangunahan nina City Mayor Doy Leachon, 10th Sangguniang Panlungsod, mga department heads at mga kawani, at ng City Public Library bilang lead department, nanumpa ang mga bagong halal na opisyales ng Calapan City Local Council of Women. Inaasahang itataguyod nila ang karapatan at mga programa para sa kababaihan sa lungsod. ✋

Masayang ibinalita ni Mayor Doy ang maagang submission ng proposed 2027 City Annual Budget, ang pinakamaagang submission sa loob ng 18 taon. Naglalaman ito ng panukalang budget para sa mga programa’t proyektong laan sa mga Calapeño. ✍️

Gayundin ay ipinakilala ang mga naggagandahan at makikisig na candidates ng bawat kolehiyo para sa Mr. and Miss CCAA 2026 na gaganapin mamaya sa Mindoro State University - Calapan Campus. 👑

Wagi ang ating Lungsod ng Calapan bilang 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗨𝗽 mula sa 40 competing cities para sa kategoryang Social Service Oriented City sa nagdaang Manila Times Philippine Model Cities and Municipalities 2026 Awards na ginanap sa Manila Hotel. 🏆

Ang nasabing parangal ay nagbigay ng pagkilala sa kakayanan ng ating siyudad sa pagyakap sa bawat sektor at pagpapanatili ng serbisyong higit pa sa inaasahan, na lalong pinagtibay ng ating mga social service-oriented programs na Orange Health Card at MBS Serbisyo on Wheels. 🧡
