The Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro (PGOM), through the Human Resource personnel, successfully conducted the official weigh-in for the month of June as part of the ongoing PGOM FitPro Challenge, under the guidance and instruction of Madam Rhodora Barojabo.
In recognition of the participantsโ dedication and enthusiasm, awards for the month of May were also presented. Congratulations to Ms. Gie Sangalang for being named Best Outfit and Ms. Che Regala for earning the title of Most Active Participant.

The election was spearheaded by PHRMO ๐๐ง๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐.๐. ๐๐๐ฒ๐๐ฌ, together with the Human Resource personnel, and gathered employees from both the first and second levels to select their respective representatives and alternate representatives who will serve as members of the committees.

HAPPENING NOW | Blood Chemistry and ECG Services for PGOM Employees
As part of its continuing commitment to prioritize the health and well-being of its workforce, the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro (PGOM) is currently facilitating Blood Chemistry and Electrocardiogram (ECG) services for interested employees.
This initiative, made possible through the collaboration of the Oriental Mindoro Provincial Hospital (OMPH) and PhilHealthโs AKAP Program, serves as a significant support system for employees in addressing their health concerns while easing the financial burden often associated with medical diagnostics and preventive healthcare.
PGOM extends its sincere gratitude to its partner institutions for making this initiative possible and for continuously helping improve the welfare of its employees through responsive and meaningful healthcare programs.

Working Towards Better Service: Revised Manual of Operations Critiquing Underway!
The Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro (PGOM) is diligently undertaking a comprehensive critiquing of its Revised Manual of Operations.
This activity, which commenced on April 21, 2026, with active participation of the Department Heads and personnel of different offices is aimed to align Manual contents with current policies, standards, and operational requirements to ensure that PGOM operations are efficient, effective and for the best interests of its clients.

Patuloy na pinapahalagahan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Oriental Mindoro (PGOM), sa pakikipagtulungan sa Oriental Mindoro Provincial Hospital (OMPH), ang kalusugan at kagalingan ng mga empleyado sa pamamagitan ng isang programang medikal na nakatuon sa serbisyong pangkalusugan at pag-iwas sa sakit. Ang inisyatibong ito ay pinalalakas pa ng pakikipag-ugnayan sa PhilHealth sa ilalim ng YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan Program), na layuning gawing mas abot-kamay ang serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa mga empleyado.
Pinangunahan ang programa ni Dr. Patricia Caballero, Medical Specialist I at YAKAP-accredited primary physician ng OMPH, na nagbigay ng propesyonal na konsultasyong medikal at gabay sa buong aktibidad.
Bukรกs para sa mga permanent at non-permanent na empleyado, umabot sa 30 ang mga nakinabang sa programang pangkalusugan at wellness. Labing-walo (18) ang sumailalim sa blood chemistry testing, habang labindalawa (12) naman ang nabigyan ng general check-up at ECG (electrocardiogram). Layunin ng mga serbisyong ito ang maagang pagtuklas ng mga posibleng sakit, pagtataguyod ng preventive care, at paghikayat sa mga empleyado na maging mas maagap sa pangangalaga ng kanilang kalusugan.
Ipinapakita ng programang ito ang patuloy na dedikasyon ng PGOM sa pagtaguyod ng mas malusog at mas produktibong hanay ng mga empleyado sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng abot-kayang serbisyong medikal. Sa patuloy na pakikipagtulungan sa OMPH at PhilHealth, sinisiguro ng pamahalaang panlalawigan na ang kalusugan ay nananatiling prayoridad at upang mapalakas ang kakayahan ng bawat empleyado na makapaglingkod sa komunidad nang may lakas at sigla.

Happening now: Matapos ang Holy Week, muling sinimulan ang FitPro Challenge ng mga kawani ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan mula sa ibaโt ibang departamento. Pinangunahan muli ito ni Madam Rhodora Barojabo bilang opisyal na Zumba Instructor ng PGOM.
Makikita ang sigla at pakikiisa ng bawat kalahok habang sabay sabay na sumasabay sa musika at galaw. Nagsisilbi rin itong daan hindi lamang sa pagpapalakas ng katawan kundi pati sa pagpapatibay ng samahan sa loob ng bawat tanggapan.
Magtatagal ang programa hanggang sa huling araw ng Disyembre, kung saan naghihintay ang 10,000 pesos na cash reward para sa empleyadong may pinakamalaking nabawas sa body fat.
Inaasahan na magpapatuloy ang ganitong mga inisyatibo upang lalo pang mapalakas ang kultura ng kalusugan at pagkakaisa sa hanay ng mga kawani ng pamahalaan. ๐ช
