PLEB Caloocan City Gives Honor to Heroic Cops

Caloocan City – October 3, 2025. The People’s Law Enforcement Board (PLEB) of Caloocan City held an awarding ceremony at the New Caloocan City Hall Building with the theme “Sa PLEB, Aksyon at Malasakit: Tungo sa Kapayapaan, Kaayusan at Kaligtasan ng Mamamayan.”

The ceremony recognized police officers of the Northern Police District who showed courage and dedication during the successful neutralization of the suspect in the recent hostage-taking incident in Caloocan. Because of their quick action and teamwork, many lives were saved.
PBGEN Jerry V. Protacio, DD, NPD was recognized his leadership and guidance played an important role in the safe resolution of the incident.

Atty. Benjamin C. Roque, Chief of Office of PLEB Caloocan City, together with the Board Members, led the presentation of awards. He expressed gratitude to the police officers and said their courage is a source of inspiration and trust for the people of Caloocan.

This awarding ceremony shows the community’s appreciation for the sacrifices of our police officers and their continuing role in keeping peace and safety in the city.
