Acting District Director of the Northern Police District (NPD), PBGEN BENLINER L CAPILI, together with the members Command Group, paid a courtesy call to Navotas City Mayor John Rey M. Tiangco to further strengthen the partnership between the Philippine National Police and the local government in promoting public safety, peace, and order within the city.

During the meeting, PBGEN CAPILI acknowledged and thanked the City Government of Navotas for its continued assistance and support to the various programs and initiatives of the Northern Police District. He highlighted the significance of sustained cooperation and coordination between the police and the local government in ensuring the security and welfare of the community.

The courtesy call also served as a venue to present and discuss the key priorities under the Acting District Director’s Six-Point Agenda, particularly the Integrity Monitoring and Enhancement/Internal Cleansing Program. This initiative seeks to reinforce discipline, accountability, professionalism, and ethical standards among police personnel, thereby strengthening public trust and confidence in the organization.

Mayor Tiangco, in turn, expressed his full support for the programs of the Northern Police District and emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong working relationship with law enforcement agencies to ensure effective delivery of public service and community safety initiatives.

The courtesy call concluded with both parties reaffirming their commitment to closer collaboration and unified efforts toward maintaining a peaceful, orderly, and secure environment for the people of Navotas City.

The Acting District Director of the Northern Police District (NPD), PBGEN BENLINER L CAPILI, announced the successful arrest of eight (8) wanted persons during a “Warrant Day” operation conducted by NPD units and police stations. Those arrested included two (2) Top Most Wanted Person (TMWP), and six (6) Other Wanted Person (OWP).

Top Most Wanted Arrested:

Caloocan City - A 61-year-old male accused, a helper and resident of Barangay 106, Caloocan City, who was listed as the No. 7 Top Most Wanted Person at the Regional Level, No. 3 at the District Level, and No. 1 at the Station Level.

The accused was apprehended through a joint manhunt operation conducted by the Intelligence Section, Investigation and Detective Management Section, Warrant and Subpoena Section, Women and Children Protection Desk, Regional Intelligence Division, and NDIT-RIU NCR in Barangay 106, Caloocan City.

The arrest was carried out by virtue of multiple Warrants of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 130, Caloocan City, for two counts of R**e, Acts of Lasciviousness, and Lascivious Conduct in relation to Section 5(b) of R.A. 7610.

Following the arrest, the accused underwent medical examination and documentation before being placed under temporary detention pending the issuance of a Commitment Order from the court of origin.

Malabon City - A 25-year-old male accused, a carpenter and resident of Barangay Tinajeros, Malabon City, who was listed as the No. 9 NPD Top Most Wanted Person at the District Level and No. 8 Top Most Wanted Person of Malabon City Police Station for June 2026.

The accused was arrested by operatives of the Warrant and Subpoena Section and the Station Investigation and Detective Management Section of Malabon City Police Station in Barangay Tinajeros, Malabon City. The arrest was made by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 170, Malabon City, for Violation of Section 11, Article II of R.A. 9165.

After the arrest, the accused was brought to a local hospital for physical examination and was subsequently placed under temporary detention pending the issuance of a Commitment Order from the court of origin.

The Northern Police District (NPD) is actively undertaking comprehensive preparations for the rainy season to ensure the safety, security, and resilience of both its personnel and the communities it serves. These proactive measures are aligned with the District’s commitment to effective disaster risk reduction and management, as well as the continuous enhancement of emergency response capabilities.

Through sustained training, coordination with partner agencies, and intensified disaster preparedness initiatives, the NPD aims to strengthen its readiness in responding to potential weather-related emergencies such as flooding and other calamities. This includes reinforcing operational protocols, improving inter-agency coordination, and ensuring that all units are well-equipped and well-informed to perform their duties efficiently during adverse weather conditions.

𝐍𝐏𝐃 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲: 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞, 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤- 𝐄𝐬𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The Northern Police District (NPD), under the leadership of Acting District Director PBGEN BENLINER L CAPILI, will activate Oplan Balik-Eskwela to guarantee a safe, secure, and orderly opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027 on June 8, 2026.

In support of school preparations, the Northern Police District will also deploy security and traffic management personnel for Brigada Eskwela activities from June 1 to 5, 2026, ensuring the smooth and orderly conduct of school readiness initiatives across the city.

A total of 1,279 police personnel will be deployed to 287 public and private schools. Additionally, 110 Police Assistance Desks (PADs) will be established in strategic locations and major convergence areas to provide immediate response to incidents and public concerns. Full deployment will be enforced on June 8, 2026, coinciding with the official opening of classes.

This measure is aimed at strengthening police visibility in and around schools, transport routes, and nearby communities to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety and security of students, teachers, parents, and school personnel.

The NPD is fully prepared to ensure a safe and orderly opening of classes.
