Calling all registered Public Sector Employees' Organizations (PSEOs)!
The Public Sector Labor-Management Council (PSLMC) announces the conduct of the 2026 Regional Workers Congress (RWC) across various regional clusters nationwide.
The RWC will serve as the first stage of the two-step election process, where sectoral labor representatives from participating regions will be elected to take part in the National Workers Congress.
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), through the Bureau of Labor Relations (BLR), will serve as the Committee on Elections (COMELEC) for the 2026 RWC, facilitating the election of sectoral labor representatives who will advance to the National Workers Congress.
All registered PSEOs are encouraged to participate in Official Business, subject to the availability of agency funds and applicable accounting and auditing rules.
Check the schedule below for the dates, venues, and regions covered by each Congress.
For official invitations, Congress materials, and other details, participating organizations are advised to coordinate with their respective organizing confederations.

𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃: 𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐄-𝐍𝐂𝐑 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬

In line with Labor Secretary Francis N. Tolentino’s call to secure a higher level of labor law and OSH compliance for all private establishments, the Department of Labor and Employment - National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR) successfully conducted the Basic Training Course for Labor Inspectors – Level 1A (Regional Level) from October 21-23, 2026 at Hotel Benilde Maison de La Salle, Malate, Manila.

The 3-day training supports the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to
ensure protection of workers’ rights and safe working conditions through accessible,
just, and responsive labor services.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: 𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐅𝐔𝐋 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐂 𝐎𝐂𝐂𝐔𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄𝐓𝐘 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐇 (𝐁𝐎𝐒𝐇) 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆

The Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training was successfully conducted on October 23, 2026, at the Penthouse, Malabon City Hall, Malabon City. Originally targeting 50 participants, the activity accommodated a total of 64 participants. Of the total attendees, 9 participants were from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), while 6 were from the Public Employment Service Office (PESO). The training provided essential knowledge and awareness of occupational safety and health, equipping participants with the necessary understanding to prepare for future employment and promote safe and healthy working environments.

The training was attended by the registered participants, who actively took part in the learning session and discussions on workplace safety and health. Through this initiative, participants were given an opportunity to enhance their knowledge, develop relevant skills, and strengthen their readiness for employment while recognizing the importance of safety in the workplace. 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The Department of Labor and Employment - National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR) has granted a financial assistance worth ₱4,638,493.56 in total to six micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) under its Adjustment Measures Program (AMP), supporting their efforts to improve productivity, strengthen business operations, and sustain employment.

The six MSMEs receiving the AMP funding were the following:

▪️Tomo Coffee Inc. - ₱797,143

From a government intern to a labor officer, Ma. Carmela Maurice D. Marinda’s journey highlights how opportunities in public service can open doors for young Filipinos. Her story began with her engagement under the Government Internship Program (GIP) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

The Department’s GIP implementation, under the leadership of Labor Secretary Francis N. Tolentino, is aligned with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s commitment to providing accessible, decent, and productive employment opportunities for the youth—establishing a stepping stone for aspiring young Filipinos to gain valuable work experience in the government sector.
