We are pleased to inform you of the SCHOLARSHIP PAYOUT for the First Semester, SY 2026-2027.

📌 Please be guided by the following schedule:

September 30, 2026 – Cash&Check Payout

📍 Venue: Fuerte Sports Complex, Cadlan, Pili
🕕 Time: Strictly at 2:00 PM
(We aim to finish early — please come on time.)

✅ WHAT TO BRING:
1. School ID or any valid government-issued ID
2. If the student is not available, an immediate family (Mama, Papa, Tugang) member may claim the payout on their behalf. Please bring:
• Authorization letter from the student
• 1 photocopy of the student’s ID
• 1 photocopy of the parent’s ID

⚠️ Note: This is the only schedule for the payout. Attendance is required. No other release will be made.

📢 WORK SUSPENSION ADVISORY

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 136 issued by the Office of the President and the corresponding Memorandum issued by Municipal Mayor Nelson M. Legaspi, work in the Municipal Government of Canaman is suspended on September 28, 2026, starting at 1:00 PM, in observance of the 34th National Family Week and “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga” Day.

However, offices and personnel involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital and essential services shall continue to operate and render the necessary services.

May this observance provide our employees with an opportunity to spend meaningful time and share a meal with their families.

Please be informed that work in all offices of the Local Government Unit of Canaman will be suspended for the whole day on September 11, 2026 (Friday) to give our employees the opportunity to participate in the Traslacion Procession.

However, those offices whose functions involve the delivery of basic and essential services, such as health, disaster response, peace and order, and other frontline and vital public services, shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.

We ask everyone to be guided accordingly.

BARANGAY NIGHT 2026: Honoring Service, Celebrating Excellence and Camaraderie

On August 10, 2026, the Municipality of Canaman celebrated Barangay Night as part of its 443rd Foundation Anniversary and Town Fiesta—an evening dedicated to recognizing the hard work, commitment, and exemplary performance of our barangay officials and personnel.

The awarding and recognition program was spearheaded by Municipal Administrator Neilanda Legaspi-Briones, in coordination with the Liga ng mga Barangay – Canaman Chapter, and with the support of Mayor Nelson Legaspi.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the department heads for their support, dedication, and efforts in making the different awards and recognitions possible.

More than a night of awards, the celebration also provided an opportunity to foster camaraderie, fellowship, and unity among our barangay partners. Following the formal program, the evening continued with music and dancing, giving everyone a well-deserved opportunity to relax, enjoy, and celebrate their collective achievements.
