Inanunsyo ng PAGASA ang pagsisimula ng rainy season sa mga kanlurang bahagi ng Luzon at Visayas ngayong Hunyo 4.

Ayon sa PAGASA, ang madalas na pag-ulan na dulot ng Southwest Monsoon o Habagat sa nakalipas na mga araw ang naging batayan sa pagdeklara ng onset ng rainy season.

Inaasahan ang paminsan-minsang hanggang madalas na pag-ulan sa mga susunod na linggo. Pinapayuhan ang publiko na manatiling alerto at subaybayan ang mga opisyal na abiso ng panahon.
