October 22, 2025 | Last September 14, school heads from various regions took the National Assessment for School Heads. Among the passers is our very own Ma’am Lucienne S. Somoray.

𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗘 𝗢𝗡 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬, 𝗢𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

Face-to-face classes in all levels in both public and private schools, including colleges, will officially resume on Monday, October 20, 2025, as directed by Mayor Patrick Barcenas.

All school buildings and facilities have undergone inspection, and the majority of these have been declared safe to use.

Schools with identified restricted areas or classrooms may adopt the Modified In-School and Off-School Approach (MISOSA) to ensure the continuity of learning while prioritizing safety. Parents/Guardians and Learners are advised to coordinate with your school heads/class advisers regarding this arrangement.

The City Government of Carcar reminds all students, teachers, and staff to observe precautionary safety measures in case of any aftershocks.

𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Should there be any signs of renewed threat or ground movement, School Heads are authorized to suspend classes immediately to ensure the safety and well-being of learners, personnel, and stakeholders.

TLSnap l There will be no classes on August 25 as the nation marks National Heroes Day. Classes will resume on August 26, signaling the start of Quarter 2.

SHS students to attend health and basic life support awareness seminar

Awareness. Preparedness. Empowerment.

Senior High School students will gather tomorrow, August 22, 2025, at the People’s Hall, Carcar City Hall for a whole-day Mental and Reproductive Health and Basic Life Support Awareness Seminar.

The activity was originally planned by the school’s former principal, Ms. Charlyn C. Satira, now EPSVR–LRMDS of SDO Carcar City.

With the support of present school head Mrs. Lucienne S. Somoray, the program aims to strengthen students’ awareness on health and equip them with practical life-saving skills.

Resource speakers include Dr. Jorge Mario Oñate, psychiatrist and founder of Kalinaw Mind Center; Mr. Patrick Lawrence P. Delantar, PTRP, Safety and Health Head Officer; and Dr. Myrna Ann A. Alcoseba, FPOGS, obstetrician-gynecologist.

The event highlights the continuing effort of the school to prepare its learners not only for academic success but also for a healthier and safer future. PMD
