Representing the pride and spirit of Poblacion III, Lyka Shyle Alison turned heads during the opening of Vacation League 2026 as she confidently competed in the search for Best Muse at People’s Plaza.

With grace, poise, and confidence beyond the spotlight, she proudly carried the banner of the youth of Tres and made the entire community proud. Congratulations, Lyka Shyle Alison, for showcasing not only beauty, but also the energy and spirit of today’s young generation.

𝗩𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗘 | 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠

The Vacation League 2026 officially kicked off last May 17, 2026 at People’s Plaza, bringing together aspiring basketball and volleyball players from different barangays across Carcar City for a celebration of sports, unity, and camaraderie.

The opening ceremony showcased the energy and passion of the city’s young athletes as teams gathered to begin another exciting season of competition and sportsmanship. Joining the event were the SK Officials of Poblacion III together with the Future Youth Officers, alongside the official basketball and volleyball players who proudly represented the barangay.

Let the battle on the court begin!

Be a hero and help save lives by joining our Mobile Blood Donation this coming 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆), 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 at the Poblacion III Multipurpose Gym.

📌 Open for:
✅ 16–17 years old (with parent’s consent and kinahanglan naa ang parent/guardian during donation)
✅ 18–60 years old

📌 Requirements:
✔️ At least 50 kg ang timbang
✔️ Blood Pressure 90/60 mmHg to 160/90 (pero dapat ang BP nga molapas sa 140/90 mmHg aduna na kini gitumar nga maintenance sa altapresyon)
✔️ Normal Hemoglobin Value (e test daan before kuhaan sa dugo anang adlawa sa pag donar for free)
✔️ Nakakaon within 4 hours before donation
✔️ Nakatulog ug at least 6 hours straight
✔️ Wala nakainom ug alcohol within 24 hours
✔️ Dili manigarilyo sa adlaw sa donation
✔️ Dili buntis
✔️ 1 year gikan sa pagpa-tattoo, body piercing, surgery, pagpanganak, or rabies vaccine
✔️ Wala ni-apil ug casual s*x ug unprescribed injectable drugs (pwedi ra maka donate ang surrenderers or learners as long as healthy ra ug mga usa ka tuig na nga niundang ug gamit sa ginadili nga druga ug dapat dli kini injectable drugs)

Last night, May 11, 2026, SK Chairperson Joshua Cabunillas, together with SK Secretary Daiena Therese Pantilag, SK Treasurer Jesmark Malingin, and future Youth Secretary Daryl Lauron, visited our basketball players and met with Coach Regie Barutag in preparation for the upcoming Vacation League 2026.

This visit reflects the SK Council’s continued commitment to supporting and encouraging our local athletes as they prepare for another exciting season of sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie.

More than just a league, Vacation League 2026 aims to strengthen unity among the youth, showcase talent, and promote active participation in sports within our community.

Last February 7, aspiring filmmakers from Barangay Poblacion 3 gathered for a Film Production and Scriptwriting Training as part of our preparations for 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗗𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗦: 𝟭𝗦𝗧 𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗚𝗢 𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗔𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗣𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗠 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟.

With the guidance of Direk Zhynnon Mantos, participants explored storytelling, scriptwriting, and the creative process behind impactful films.

This is just the beginning.
Soon, these ideas will turn into films that reflect the voice, reality, and advocacy of the youth of Tres.
