Last January 7–9, 2026, we successfully participated in the Training of Trainers on Personal Safety Lessons for Teachers held at the Golden Prince Hotel.
This meaningful three-day training brought us together as dedicated educators committed to creating safer learning environments for every child. Through interactive sessions, collaborative activities, and practical strategies, we were equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively teach Personal Safety Lessons and empower our students.
We sincerely thank the Consuelo Zobel Alger Foundation for their generous support, in collaboration with Children’s Legal Bureau, Inc., for making this initiative possible. Their unwavering commitment to child protection and education strengthens our shared mission of keeping children safe, informed, and empowered.
As the newly trained PSL Teachers of the Carcar City Division, we are ready to echo what we have learned and champion personal safety in our schools and communities.

Last August 13,19 and September 1,2025 we conducted the Division Capacity Building for the Guidance Designates/ Counselor/Learning Action Cell (LAC) teacher coordinators on Learner Rights and Protection Committee Functionality and Responding to Mental Heath Crises -Part II held at Carcar Central Elementary School Library. It was full of active participation & collaboration among the participants. This intensive session empowered school leaders and coordinators with specialized skills to manage the Learner Rights and Protection Committee. Participants delved into Part II of the training, mastering systematic protocols for mental health crisis intervention. By streamlining reporting and response mechanisms, the division ensures schools remain resilient, safe and student-centered. Facilitated by the Youth Formation Coordinators Carmelita B. Cortes & Mr. Kent Kirby L. Campugan ,it was indeed a successful activity. Thank you so much to all the PMTs who helped and to all the participants. Congratulations everyone.
