A Little Late, But Definitely Worth Celebrating! 🎨🌊

Because of the excitement and busy schedule during Hinugyaw Festival, this post comes a little later than planned—but the success of the First-Ever Seawall Mural Painting Contest deserves to be celebrated!

With the inspiring theme, “Duag sang Kauswagan: Kultura kag Kadagatan Aton Amligan kag Pasidunggan", talented artists transformed the Carles Seawall into a vibrant canvas that beautifully reflects our rich culture, thriving coastal heritage, and shared vision for a progressive community.

To our winners, congratulations on your well-deserved achievement! Your creativity, passion, and dedication have left a lasting mark that will inspire both locals and visitors for years to come.

To all of our participating artists, thank you for sharing your talent, creativity, and countless hours of hard work. Every mural contributed to the beauty and spirit of this event. While competitions naturally recognize only a few, each artwork added color, meaning, and life to our seawall. Your willingness to participate and showcase your artistry made this inaugural contest a remarkable success.

This milestone would not have been possible without the support of everyone who believed in this vision. Together, we have not only created stunning works of art but also a lasting symbol of Carles' identity, unity, and love for our culture and the sea.

Here's to making the First-Ever Seawall Mural Painting Contest the beginning of a tradition that continues to celebrate local artistry and community pride.

Once again, congratulations and thank you to everyone who became part of this memorable event!

🇵🇭 **128th Philippine Independence Day Celebration** 🇵🇭

On June 12, 2026, the Local Government Unit of Carles proudly joins the nation in commemorating the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence, through a parade and civic program honoring the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of our forefathers.

As we march together in unity, we celebrate the freedom that generations of Filipinos fought hard to achieve. This occasion serves as a reminder that independence is not only a privilege but also a responsibility—one that calls us to contribute to the progress of our community and nation through service, integrity, and active citizenship.

May the spirit of freedom continue to inspire us to work hand in hand toward a stronger, more resilient, and more prosperous Carles.

Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan! Mabuhay ang Carles! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!🇵🇭

✨🌈 Hello, June! 🌈✨

As we welcome a new month, we also proudly celebrate Pride Month — a time to honor diversity, equality, inclusivity, and the valuable contributions of our LGBTQIA+ community, especially our dedicated LGBTQIA+ employees who continue to inspire us through their talent, passion, and service. 💖

On Monday, June 1, the Flag Ceremony became more colorful and meaningful as we officially welcomed Pride Month through a lively Unity Dance, an inspiring message from Ryan Jazz Betita about the history and significance of Pride Month, and fun trivia activities that reminded everyone about the importance of respect, acceptance, and unity. 🏳️‍🌈✨

May this month encourage us all to continue building a workplace and community where everyone feels seen, valued, respected, and celebrated for who they are.

Happy Pride Month! 🌈
