The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Magsaysay would like to formally announce that there will be no Kabataan Night as part of this yearโs celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.
This decision was made in consideration of the recent flooding experienced by several areas of Barangay Magsaysay. Instead of proceeding with the planned celebration, the Sangguniang Kabataan chose to prioritize the immediate needs and welfare of our affected kabarangay by extending assistance and support to those affected by the flooding.
In the spirit of service, compassion, and solidarity, we believe that being present for our community during times of need is a more meaningful way of serving the youth and our fellow residents.
Despite the cancellation of Kabataan Night, we will still conduct an Awarding Distribution to recognize and honor all the winners of the various activities and competitions held during Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.
All winners will be called individually to receive their Certificates of Recognition and corresponding prizes. Please wait for the official announcement regarding the exact date and schedule of the awarding distribution.
We sincerely thank all the kabataan, participants, volunteers, and supporters for their understanding and continued cooperation. More than a celebration, Linggo ng Kabataan reminds us that the youth can be a source of service, compassion, and hope for the community.
Congratulations to all our winners, and thank you for being part of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.
