Three medical scholars of the Provincial Government of Northern Samar have passed the recent Physician Licensure Examination, on first take! We now have 13 doctors produced under the PGNS Medical Scholarship Program, with a 100% passing rate of all our graduates.

Dr. Pelito, from Victoria, Northern Samar and part of the pioneering batch of medical scholars, finished her degree from the University of Cebu; while Dr. Mente, a Capuleña, from Bicol University; and Dr. Leonor, a Catubignon, from RTRMF in Tacloban City.

May the story of their perseverance and hard work inspire our other scholars and all aspiring Nortehanon doctors!

From Governor Harris Christopher Ongchuan, Vice Governor Clarence E. Dato, Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and the entire Provincial Government of Northern Samar, congratulations our new PGNS-MSP doctors! 🫡
