Ngayong araw, ating ginugunita ang Araw ng Kagitingan. Isang pagpupugay sa katapangan, sakripisyo, at pagmamahal sa bayan ng ating mga bayani.

Sa Catarman Water District, isinasabuhay namin ang diwa ng kagitingan sa aming pang-araw-araw na tungkulin. Tulad ng ating mga bayani, patuloy kaming nagsusumikap na maglingkod nang may integridad, dedikasyon, at malasakit para sa kapakanan ng aming mga konsumidor at ng buong komunidad.

Ang bawat pagkilos, mula sa pagpapanatili ng maayos na daloy ng tubig hanggang sa agarang pagtugon sa mga pangangailangan ng publiko, ay isang anyo ng aming simpleng ambag sa patuloy na pag-unlad at kapakanan ng ating bayan.

• Walang pasok ang opisina ngayong araw bilang paggunita sa Araw ng Kagitingan.
• Magpapatuloy ang regular na operasyon bukas, Abril 10, 2026.
• Mayroon kaming on-call maintenance team ngayong araw na nakaantabay para sa agarang aksyon sakaling may emergency na pangangailangan sa serbisyo ng tubig.
• Para sa inyong mga bayarin, maaari pa rin kayong magbayad gamit ang GCash upang maiwasan ang abala.

Sa araw na ito, nawa’y magsilbi itong paalala na ang tunay na kagitingan ay makikita hindi lamang sa malalaking sakripisyo, kundi pati na rin sa maliliit na gawa ng paglilingkod araw-araw.

Patuloy po kaming narito upang maglingkod, kahit sa mga panahong may pagdiriwang at paggunita.

Catarman Water District would like to inform all our valued concessionaires that there will be a SCHEDULED WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION on Sunday, April 12, 2026 due to an 18-hour power interruption by the NGCP affecting Northern Samar. *Please check the link on the comment section for the full details about the power interruption from NORSAMELCO's page.

While the district has a generator set, it is not capable of operating continuously for the entire duration of the outage. In line with this, water supply will be limited and scheduled as follows:

💧Water Supply Schedule:
•Morning: 6:00AM to 1:00PM
•Afternoon: 3:00PM to 9:00PM

Water supply will be temporarily unavailable outside the stated hours.

Rest assured that normal water service will resume immediately once power is fully restored.

📌Important Reminders:
• Please store enough water in advance to avoid inconvenience.
• Use water wisely during supply hours.
• Ensure water containers are clean and properly covered.
• Expect possible low water pressure in some areas.

Last March 31, 2026, the Catarman Water District successfully held a simple yet meaningful Culmination and Luncheon Activity in honor of the remarkable women of our organization. This initiative forms part of our Gender and Development (GAD) programs in celebration of Women’s Month.

Guided by this year’s empowering theme, “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!”, the activity recognized the invaluable contributions of women in the workplace—their strength, dedication, and leadership that continuously inspire and uplift our organization.

The celebration was marked by a warm and modest luncheon shared among the Board of Directors and CWD employees, fostering a spirit of appreciation, unity, and gratitude for all the hardworking women of the District.

Adding a heartfelt touch to the occasion, the men of Catarman Water District expressed their appreciation by presenting bouquets of flowers to all CWD women—a simple yet meaningful gesture that made the celebration even more special.

This activity highlights CWD’s steadfast commitment to promoting gender equality, inclusivity, and empowerment, recognizing that both women and men play vital roles in building a progressive and supportive workplace.

In line with Memorandum Circular No. 116, s. 2025 and in observance of the Holy Week, please be informed that the CWD Office will be closed tomorrow, April 1, 2026 as employees will adopt a work-from-home arrangement from 8Am to 12PM, followed by work suspension starting 12PM onwards.
