Today, August 12, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Ubanon joins young people across the Philippines and around the world in celebrating International Youth Day and National Youth Day 2026!

International Youth Day is celebrated annually to recognize young people as vital partners in building a just, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable world. It highlights the challenges faced by the youth while celebrating their creativity, leadership, participation, and powerful role in bringing positive change to their communities.

In the Philippines, August 12 is also recognized as National Youth Day pursuant to Republic Act No. 11913, complementing the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan under the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act.

This celebration reminds every Ubanon youth that your voice matters, your ideas have power, and your participation can create meaningful change.

May we continue to provide opportunities where our young people can learn, lead, serve, showcase their talents, and actively participate in building a stronger and more united Barangay Ubanon.

Kabataan han Ubanon: Magburublig, Manguna, ngan Magin Parte han Pagbag-o!

Happy International Youth Day & National Youth Day 2026 from SK Poblacion 08!
