Please be informed nga WALAY DOCTOR’S CONSULTATION ug DENTAL CONSULTATION sa Catmon Rural Health Unit from September 28 to October 2, 2026 (Monday–Friday).

Both doctors, together with the RHU staff, will be attending a 5-day training on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Standard First Aid (SFA).

Basic health services and emergency assistance will continue as applicable, but regular doctor’s consultation will be unavailable during these dates.

Regular doctor’s consultation will resume on October 5, 2026 (Monday).

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your kind understanding and cooperation. 🙏💙

Tungod sa hanging Habagat, niabot na sa Central Visayas ang a*o gikan sa forest fires sa Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Mamahimong moresulta ang haze sa paglisod sa pagginhawa, ubo, pagpanakit sa dughan, pagkatol o pagluha-luha sa mga mata, ug paggrabe sa mga sakit sa baga sama sa hubak. Doble nga pagbantay ang kinahanglan alang sa mga bata, katigulangan, ug sa mga adunay sakit sa baga ug kasing-kasing.

Samtang nagpadayon ang hulga sa haze, pagsul-ob og mask kung mogawas sa panimalay. Atong hibaloan ang kahimtang sa atong lugar ug unahon ang kaluwasan. Magbinantayon kita sa hulga sa Haze!

MENTAL HEALTH & SUPPORT GROUP ACTIVITY

Today, the Catmon Rural Health Unit conducted a meaningful Mental Health and Support Group Activity focused on promoting emotional well-being, self-care, connection, and a supportive community. 🌿💚

The activity was headed by our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Edna L. Orlanes, with the support of our dedicated Dentist, Dr. Keithy Mumar, who also facilitated a refreshing and relaxing Yoga Session. 🧘‍♀️

We are also grateful for the special participation of our DepEd Teacher, Ma’am Charise Tibay and DepEd Nurse, Sir Ian Aroma, for joining us and contributing to this meaningful activity. 🤝💚 Your presence and support helped make the gathering more engaging and meaningful for everyone.

The yoga session gave our participants an opportunity to pause, breathe, relax, and reconnect with themselves. 💚 Because taking care of our mental health also means taking time to care for ourselves.

DOH: HIGIT 9,000 NA MGA PILIPINO ANG NADI-DIAGNOSE NG PROSTATE CANCER BAWAT TAON

Ayon sa datos mula sa Department of Health (DOH) at Global Cancer Observatory (GLOBOCAN), tinatayang higit 9,000 na bagong ka*o ng prostate cancer ang naitala sa bansa, partikular sa mga kalalakihang may edad 50 pataas. Dahil madalas ay walang nararamdamang sintomas sa maagang antas nito, mahalagang magkaroon ng regular na konsultasyon at pagsusuri tulad ng Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) test at Digital Re**al Examination (DRE).

Tandaan: Ang maagang pagtukoy ay susi sa mas mataas na pagkakataon ng paggaling. Kung may nararanasang pagbabago sa pag-ihi, huwag mag-atubiling kumonsulta agad sa pinakamalapit na health center o primary care physician.
