Dated March 28, 2026, Child Development Workers of the Municipality of Catmon conducted the monthly meeting at LGU Day Care Center.

This is to ensure the effective implementation of Early Childhood Care Programs by fostering collaboration, professional growth and continuous improvement 👍👍💖

Today, May 29, 2026, Friday morning, the Solo Parent Catmon successfully conducted a Solo Parent Orientation for qualified solo parents within the municipality. The activity aimed to provide participants with essential information regarding the benefits, privileges, programs, and services available to solo parents pursuant to existing laws, policies, and local government initiatives.

During the orientation, discussions were also conducted regarding the thirteen (13) recognized categories of solo parents, including the qualifications, requirements, and guidelines for application and availment of benefits.

Individuals who are willing and qualified to apply as solo parents are encouraged to visit the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) for proper assessment, verification, and assistance in the processing of their application and documentary requirements.

The Solo Parent Catmon extends its appreciation to all participants for their attendance, cooperation, and active participation in the activity.

Today, May 29, 2026, the Catmon Solo Parent Federation successfully conducted its 2nd Quarterly Meeting. The activity was attended by the Solo Parent Presidents from the various barangays of Catmon to discuss important programs, activities, and initiatives geared toward promoting the welfare and well-being of solo parents within the municipality.

The meeting served as a valuable platform for strengthening unity, cooperation, and collaboration among the barangay organizations, thereby ensuring the effective implementation of programs, projects, and services intended for solo parent beneficiaries.

The following agenda were discussed during the meeting:

• Updates on activities and accomplishments per barangay
• School Supplies Distribution for Solo Parent Child Beneficiaries
• Schedule of the 2nd Quarter Cash Subsidy Distribution
• Livelihood Skills Training – target implementation during the 1st week of July 2026
• National Family Week Celebration – target schedule during the last week of July 2026

Look: Today May 25,2026, inline with the DSWD Region VII Walang Gutom Program, the Office of the Local Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Catmon with the LGU Focal Person conducted the 5th Food Redemption program to the beneficiaries of Catmon. This is a program conducted in answer to the Zero Hunger one of the Sustainable Development Goals of the national office. Ensuring a healthy diet for the registered beneficiaries.

Last May 23,2026 the PWD Focal Person and Assistant Focal Person, conducted the PWD Profiling in Barangay Macaas and Catmondaan. This is to ensure that all the PWDs in the barangay is a duly registered member and can avail of the benefits surely for them.

Yesterday May 24,2026 the OSCA Staff together with the OSCA head conducted the Nonagenarian Payout. A certain amount was given for the medicine and other needs of our Catmon Nonagenarian. Thank you LGU Catmon for the service of care to the elderly. ❤️❤️❤️

Today, May 20,2026 the PWD Federation of Catmon conducted their 2nd Quarterly Meeting together with the PWD Focal Person and the Assitant Focal Person. They tackled the planning for the upcoming PWD Celebration and appointment of the Federation Treasurer and also the upcoming Outreach Program. They also distributed vitamins and supplies for all the pwd associations. Assisting and empowering marginalized sectors in the municipality.

The Municipality of Catmon through the Office of the Muncipal Social Welfare and Development ,Today, May 18, 2026, the Catmon Solo Parent Federation successfully conducted the distribution of 1st quarterly Payout cash subsidies to qualified solo parents as part of its continuing support and assistance program for solo-parent beneficiaries in the community. ♥️❤️🧡💛💙❤️‍🩹💚

Last May 16,2026, the Catmon Federation of Senior Citizens Association of the Philippines, successfully conducted the Senior Citizen Massage Skills Training. This is to empower and share knowledge to the capable Senior Citizens to acquire knowledge on Massage as a means of help when they have their aching pains of their loved ones or for some to augment income. This is in line with the top priority services of the administration to fully equip the Seniors and they can avail of the services of the LGU. Thank you so much Mayor Avis for the transpo and to the resource person who are knowledgeable in this field.

The Municipality of Catmon through the Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development in partnership with Catmon MLGOO Mam Evalyn R Quiros successfully conducted the 2 days BCPC, GAD, BPOPS and BADAC Planning and Budgeting Workshop which aims to align financial resources with strategic goals, creating actionable work plans and ensuring performance monitoring and evaluation 👍👍👍
