The Cauayan City Youth Parliament (CCYP) invites young people aged 15โ€“30 to share their ideas, discuss pressing youth concerns, propose solutions, and participate in shaping youth-responsive policies and ordinances for our city.

Institutionalized under City Ordinance No. 2024-582A, the CCYP will focus on the Ten (10) Centers of Participation under the Philippine Youth Development Plan (PYDP) 2023โ€“2028.

This is your chance to:

-Tackle issues that matter to you โ€” discuss concerns affecting the youth and the community.

-Propose innovative solutions โ€” develop concrete proposals, policies, and recommendations responsive to the needs of Cauayan City.

-Participate in local legislation โ€” engage in discussions and deliberations that may contribute to youth-responsive ordinances and policies.

The Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) held its 3rd Regular Quarterly Meeting on September 28, 2026, at the Bamboo Youth Development Center, San Fermin, Cauayan City, Isabela.

The meeting brought together youth leaders and representatives to discuss the updates and accomplishment reports of the activities conducted during the 3rd quarter, as well as upcoming programs, youth concerns, and other matters concerning the young people of Cauayan City.

Together, we continue to make youth voices heard and youth participation meaningful.

๐Ÿ“ข MONITORING AND EVALUATION (M&E) 2027!

READ | In reference with the SK Advisory 2026-P008. The National Youth Commission, through the SK Web Portal, is opening the 2027 Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) System for the implementation of the Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP), Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP), and Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program (ABYIP).

As part of the preparation for the end-of-term submission and assessment of the current Sangguniang Kabataan administration, all SK-funded Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) and General Administrative Programs (GAPs) implemented during 2024 (PPAs Only), 2025 (PPAs Only), and 2026 (PPAs and GAPs) must be encoded in the SK Web Portal, including those that were not previously submitted or were submitted late.

This serves as the official consolidation of accomplishments and will help ensure that every eligible activity undertaken during the current SK term is properly documented and reflected in the end-of-term monitoring and evaluation.

In addition, the 2027 M&E is now open for the encoding of PPAs and GAPs implemented from January 2026 onwards, allowing SK officials to record their accomplishments in real time until the completion of their term. Early encoding is highly encouraged to ensure accurate reporting, facilitate monitoring, and minimize delays during the final submission period.

The stage came alive on August 29, 2026, at the F.L. Dy Coliseum, Cauayan City, as talented young people showcased their skills, creativity, and passion through the Kabataang Cauayeรฑo Got Talent Competition, one of the highlights of the Buwan ng Kabataan 2026 Celebration.

Every performance reflected the courage, dedication, and unique talents of the youth, making the event a truly memorable celebration.

The program was spearheaded by the City Government of Cauayan, through the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) and the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation, in partnership with the Cauayan City Gender and Development Office (GAD), Public Employment Service Office (PESO), JCI โ€“ Cauayan Bamboo, Local Youth Development Council (LYDC), and Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP).

The program was led by Atty. Divina Joy A. Ventura-Gonzales - Local Youth Development Officer, and Hon. Camilo T. Ballad - SK Federation President, whose leadership and commitment continue to support and empower the youth of Cauayan City.
