February 24, 2026 marked a significant milestone in student leadership as the Division Federated Supreme Secondary Learner Government Election was successfully held at the Bulwagan of the Division Office, Cavite City. This meaningful event brought together dedicated young leaders from Cavite National High School, Cavite City National Science High School, and our alma matter Sangley Point National High School.

Throughout the event, the true essence of youth democracy was evident as candidates confidently presented their platforms and aspirations for the student body. On February 13, 2026, the SSLG Officers successfully organized a vibrant Valentineโs Day celebration that filled the campus with joy, unity, and school spirit. The venue was adorned with festive decorations, and students actively participated in activities that celebrated friendship and camaraderie. Adding warmth to the celebration, the SPTA Officers generously provided free coffee to the teachers, a thoughtful gesture of appreciation for their dedication and guidance.
A key highlight of the program was the Proclamation of the Newly Elected SSLG Officers for S.Y. 2026-2027. The ceremony was formally conducted by Ma'am Lo**ta Llagas Pangilinan, representing the Screening and Validation Committee, who officially proclaimed the winners and reminded them to uphold integrity and commitment in serving the student body.
Ensuring the credibility and transparency of the election were Ma'am Cherry Leen C. Marquez, School Head and Chairman of the Youth COMEA, and Sir Marcel Segismundo, Head Teacher I and Co-Chair of the Youth COMEA. Their leadership guaranteed a fair electoral process that reflected the true voice of the students.
The event concluded with heartfelt applause and renewed enthusiasm, marking not only a celebration of love but also the beginning of a new chapter in student leadership.
