FAREWELL VISIT | The Naval Sea Systems Command (NSSC) rendered Arrival Honors to the Deputy Commander of Eastern Mindanao Command, Armed Forces of the Philippines, who made a Farewell Visit to the Command on Tuesday, May 26.
Ahead of his upcoming retirement, Commodore Dwight Steven M Dulnoan PN, a Company-sized Arrival Honors was rendered in recognition of his outsanding leadership and service. Followed by the traditional Guestbook Signing, an executive meeting took place wherein the visiting group and NSSC leadership were able to foster institutional camaraderie.
The exchanges illustrated the importance of unity and mutual respect among key military officials. Commo Dulnoan PN then addressed NSSC officers about how he sees them as the future of the Philippine Navy and how their promising naval careers will help the Navy as a whole.
Commo Dulnoan PN is a proud member of the Philippine Military Academy "MAALAB" Class of 1993. Throughout his remarkable military career, Commo Dulnoan PN will leave a legacy of service and excellence.

ARRIVAL HONORS | NAWFOR Welcomes Commander, Naval Sea Systems Command
Sangley Point, Cavite City – The Naval Air Warfare Force (NAWFOR) rendered arrival honors to RADM Juario C Marayag PN, Commander, Naval Sea Systems Command (NSSC) on 25 May 2026 during his visit to Headquarters NAWFOR.
RADM Marayag, who previously served as Commander of the then Naval Air Wing (NAW), was accorded the appropriate military honors upon arrival, reflecting the enduring ties and shared history between the visiting Flag Officer and the naval aviation community.
The visit also served as an opportunity to reconnect with officers and personnel of the Force while highlighting the continuing collaboration between NAWFOR and NSSC in supporting naval operations, capability development, and mission readiness in line with the Philippine Navy’s operational objectives.
Through engagements such as this, NAWFOR continues to uphold military traditions while fostering camaraderie and professional relations across the organization.

AFP Chief Honors Pag-asa Troops, Boosts Morale and Welfare in Kalayaan Island Visit
AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S Brawner Jr. recognized and awarded troops stationed on Pag-asa Island during his visit to the Kalayaan Island Group on May 22, underscoring the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ continued commitment to troop morale, welfare, and operational readiness in the country’s western frontier.
General Brawner was joined by Western Command (WESCOM) Commander Vice Admiral Alan M Javier, Western Naval Command Commander Rear Admiral Vincent J Sibala, and Municipality of Kalayaan Mayor Honorable Billy Alindogan. During the visit, the AFP Chief personally commended the troops for their professionalism, discipline, and unwavering dedication in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and maintaining stability in the West Philippine Sea.
“We recognize that what you are doing here in the Kalayaan Island Group is maintaining peace in this part of our country. You are putting your lives on the line to preserve peace and protect our freedom,” General Brawner said. He likewise praised the troops for faithfully carrying out their duties despite difficult and isolated conditions, emphasizing that their commitment reflects the professionalism and discipline expected of uniformed personnel entrusted with defending the nation.
The visit forms part of the AFP leadership’s continuing efforts to directly engage deployed personnel, assess their operational conditions, and ensure that the welfare, morale, and support systems of frontline troops remain a priority. The AFP reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining initiatives that strengthen troop capability, resilience, and overall well-being as they continue to perform their mandate in protecting the country’s territorial integrity and national interests.
