The celebration kicked off with an energetic mobile caravan, weaving through the scenic routes of the islands to signify the journey of faith that began decades ago. The momentum led the faithful to the San Roque Parish in Consuelo, San Francisco, Cebu, for a solemn Eucharistic Celebration.

Wala Siya dinhi; nabanhaw Siya!"
— Lucas 24:5-6

EASTER VIGIL | "The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light."

San Roque Parish celebrates the Easter Vigil—the mother of all vigils. Led by Rev. Fr. Reynante Joseph E. Ga, MSC, the community gathered to witness the triumph of life over death.

Through the blessing of the new fire, the lighting of the Paschal Candle, and the renewal of our baptismal promises, we are reminded that Christ is our Light, yesterday, today, and forever.

PROCESSION OF THE SANTO ENTIERRO | As the sun sets over Consuelo, San Francisco, Cebu, a profound silence falls upon the community. On this Good Friday, the faithful of San Roque Parish gathered to accompany the Santo Entierro (the Interred Christ) and the Mater Dolorosa (Our Lady of Sorrows) in a solemn funeral procession.

Guided by the soft glow of candles and the golden hue of the twilight, the community walked in prayerful solidarity—commemorating the burial of Jesus and the immense grief of His Mother. This tradition is not just a walk of mourning, but a testament to our shared faith and the hope that lies even in the stillness of the tomb.
