We believe that “Ang tunay na pag-asa ay nasa edukasyon”.
Education once acquired stays and is ingrained in the person, regardless of life’s viscissitudes. If there is any real wealth in this world, it is education because of its lifetime value. It is our advocacy to make our citizenry realize the value of education by making them realize its empowering nature, that it is a means to improve and change one’s life as well as that of his family and the enti
re country. In furtherance thereof, we shall work for an education for our countrymen which is accessible; of high quality; globally competitive and empowering; fosters love of country; preserves our national heritage; promotes love of history, arts and culture; develops science and technology with due regard to sustainable development and environmental protection; instils love of sports and promotes youth development; and strengthens educational and societal conditions supportive of such goals. In so doing, we hope to be of service to our countrymen by being a recognized force championing not only education, but also our collective empowerment as well as national development. TEN POINT LEGISLATIVE AGENDA
1. We advocate for empowering education as education should not be an end but only a means to an end.
2. We will fight for accessible education, one which will provide access to education, especially to the underprivileged sectors of our society.
3. We will promote and harmonize the interests of the various stakeholders of Philippine education – teachers, students, parents, school personnel, out-of-school youth etc.
4. We advocate for a globally competitive and high quality Philippine education.
5. We will promote nationalism, love of country, and the preservation of our national heritage.
6. We will promote love of history, arts and culture.
7. We will promote science and technology with due regard to environmental protection and sustainable development.
8. We will promote sports development.
9. We advocate for the promotion of youth welfare.
10. We will adhere to the rule of law and will support legal reform supportive of the foregoing.
