CLES Unveils New Grotto and Parents’ Waiting Area
Camp Lapulapu Elementary School (CLES) formally unveiled and blessed its newly constructed grotto and parents’ waiting area during a turnover ceremony held on March 13, 2026, at the school grounds. The project aims to provide a peaceful place for reflection and a comfortable space for parents and visitors while waiting inside the campus.
The construction of the grotto and waiting area was made possible through the generous support and contributions of respected community leaders and benefactors. Leading the donors was Apas Barangay Captain Hon. Virgil A. Cabigon, together with Barangay Councilors Hon. Jan Justin L. Sabaldan, Hon. Rene L. Menchavez Jr., Hon. Teresita T. Majait, and Hon. Brian N. Moncayo. Additional support also came from Mr. Benjie Cujardo, Atty. Rafael Tatlonghari, and Mr. Allan Ybañez.
The blessing of the newly built structures was officiated by Rev. Fr. Joaquin Solde, who led a short prayer ceremony for the school community and the benefactors who made the project possible.
The event was spearheaded by the school principal Mr. Michael G. Cabase, and was attended by the project’s donors and sponsors led by Barangay Captain Cabigon and the barangay councilors. Teachers of Camp Lapulapu Elementary School were also present, along with members of the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) who witness this meaningful occasion.
The newly built grotto and waiting area stand as a symbol of strong partnership between the school and the local government in creating a more welcoming and supportive environment for the entire school community.
