San Nicolas Proper Emergency Rescue Department, headed by Team Captain Jomber Paclipan, is officially deployed for Holy Week operations from Maundy Thursday through Good Friday.

To ensure the safety of all residents and pilgrims until Easter Sunday, our medical stations are now fully set up and operational at key points throughout the community. Our rescue personnel are on high alert and ready to provide immediate assistance.

The Cebu City Fire Station informs the public that tomorrow, March 1, 2026, marks the start of Fire Prevention Month 2026.
As part of the kick-off ceremony, a motorcade with more than 60 fire trucks, rescue vehicles, and EMS ambulances from BFP, Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Barangay Fire Brigades, and Private Fire Brigades will travel around Cebu City with sounding sirens.

San Nicolas Proper Emergency Response Team – EMS Unit responded to a reported self-accident involving a male cyclist along Long Road, Bagsakan, Barangay Basak, San Nicolas. Immediate assessment and appropriate pre-hospital care were provided on site.

Earlier today, the San Nicolas Proper Emergency Response Team Headquarters was designated as a temporary triage area to provide immediate medical assessment and assistance to San Nicolas Proper dancers, propsmen, and performers in connection with Sinulog sa Dakbayan 2026.

The team promptly implemented standard triage procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals involved.
