On All Souls' Day, we remember and pray for all those who have gone before us. They are never truly gone as long as we carry their love in our hearts. May light perpetual shine upon them.

31/10/2025

Today, we honor the lives of the Saintsβ€”not just the ones we know, but the countless souls who lived out the Gospel faithfully. They remind us that holiness isn't just a goal for a few, but a calling for all.

May their prayers inspire us to live our everyday lives with grace and love.

DILG Sugbo Honored as Modern-Day Heroes by CPPO

The DILG Sugbo, through Provincial Director Dr. Jesus Robel T. Sastrillo Jr., was recognized by the Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO) for its invaluable contribution to the relief and rescue operations following the 6.9-magnitude earthquake in Northern Cebu.

The recognition was conferred during the Flag Raising Ceremony held on October 20, 2025 at the CPPO Multi-Purpose Grounds, led by PCOL Abubakar Udang Mangelen Jr., together with the Command Group and staff.

DILG Sugbo was among those honored as modern-day heroes for exemplifying dedication, compassion, and swift action in times of crisisβ€”reflecting the Department’s steadfast commitment to public service and disaster response.

Joining Dr. Sastrillo in being recognized were PLTCOL Ryan Ace M. Sala, Chief of the Cebu Provincial Forensic Unit, and PMAJ Andre Glenn M. Mangubag, Station Chief of the Cebu City Maritime Police Station.
