Our sincere gratitude to the initiative of our General PTA President, Mrs. Elizabeth Zapra Arceo, for making this meaningful recognition possible. Through her thoughtfulness and generosity, our valued personnel felt truly appreciated, happy, and proud of the important roles they fulfill in our school community.
This meaningful gesture reminds us that every member of the school, regardless of position, deserves equal respect, recognition, and opportunities to demonstrate excellent performance. These are our Grade 6 learners who belong to the Cream of the Crop for School Year 2025–2026. They were officially declared as Honor Learners yesterday, March 23, 2026, by the School Principal, Mr. Gerry C. Demellites, based on the approved ranking list.
Advance congratulations to these outstanding learners who will be recognized during the Awarding Ceremony on March 30, 2026, at 8:00 in the morning.
Also present in the photo is one of the class advisers, Mr. Warren Bihag, together with the principal and the learners, proudly capturing this meaningful milestone that reflects their hard work, dedication, and academic excellence.

Today at 2:00 PM, our school successfully conducted an Earthquake Drill. After the ringing of the bell, all students immediately performed the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” safety procedure inside their classrooms. They then calmly proceeded to the designated safe areas outside the school.
After the drill, the principal gave a short pep talk, reminding everyone of the importance of preparedness and staying calm during emergencies. The activity helped strengthen the awareness and readiness of our learners and staff in responding to possible earthquakes.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Cebu City Government, through the Local School Board of the Division of Cebu City, for giving us 432 pieces of PE T-Shirts. They are very nice, and our teachers, administrators, and parents are truly proud of them.

Grade 6 MOCK NAT 2026 | Embracing Technology in Assessment

Today, our Grade 6 learners successfully took the MOCK NAT 2026 through an electronic format, using their cellphones to answer examinations in five subject areas, with one hour allotted for each subject.
We sincerely thank the parents for their full support in allowing their children to bring and use their cellphones for this important academic activity. For learners who did not have personal devices, they were accommodated in the school’s computer laboratory to ensure that everyone had equal access to the technology needed for the test.
Our examiners were diligent, patient, and clear in giving instructions, ensuring that the learners were properly guided throughout the entire process. This activity reflects our school’s commitment to innovation, preparedness, and teamwork in helping our learners achieve academic excellence.

Purple Wednesday | Supporting Women’s Month Celebration 💜

Today, on the first Wednesday of the month, our school officially launched the Women’s Month Celebration by gathering all teachers dressed in purple as a symbol of support, respect, and empowerment for women.
We assembled at the school grounds for a pictorial activity, capturing our unity and commitment to this meaningful celebration. The event became even more lively with a dance number performed by our teachers to the tune of “Hawak Ko ang Beat.” Their energy and enthusiasm truly brought joy to everyone and served as a wonderful stress reliever after a long day’s work.
The presence of our school principal, Mr. Gerry Demellites, during the pictorial activity made the celebration even more special. Indeed, today was a beautiful reminder that when we stand together, we celebrate not only women’s strength but also the spirit of unity in our school community. 💜

While on our way to extend our condolences to our colleague, Ma’am Michael July Arejola, and her family on the passing of her mother, we noticed a small waterfall along the uphill road. Its beauty drew our attention, so we briefly stopped to take photos and appreciate the serene view before proceeding to our destination.

Unexpected blessing arrived in school! Aice personnel served our staff and learners with their ice cream products and all of us surprised with the sudden appearance of their mascot that everyone enjoyed with. Thank you Aice and God bless!

Cambinocot Elementary School hereby informs the public that we strictly adhere to the policies of the Department of Education (DepEd) in the Philippines regarding the No Collection Policy for School Year 2025–2026.
In accordance with DepEd Order No. 41, s. 2012 (Prohibition on the Collection of Fees from Students at the Start of the School Year) and other related DepEd issuances, our school does not authorize any mandatory collection of fees from learners for projects, classroom materials, activities, or any other purposes not approved by DepEd.
Education in public schools is free, and no learner shall be denied admission, participation, or any school privilege due to non-payment of any contribution.
We remain committed to transparency, integrity, and the protection of our learners’ rights. Should there be any concerns regarding unauthorized collections, parents and stakeholders are encouraged to coordinate directly with the School Administration.
