Better late than never, sharing a few more snaps from that Iloilo trip.

Same good food, same great company, just more moments worth posting. โ™ฅ๏ธ

My special thanks to my colleague, former City Councilor and now Regional Director of LTFRB Region VI, Richie Osmeรฑa, for the warm welcome, kindness, and generous hospitality throughout the visit.

โœ๏ธ๐ŸŒ…

Honored to serve as Guest of Honor and Speaker for the Cebu City Fire Station Fire Chef Competition in line with Fire Prevention Month 2026. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ

This unique event showcases not only the bravery of our firefighters but also their creativity and teamwork beyond the line of duty. From fighting fires to firing up the kitchen, truly a celebration of skill and camaraderie!

Anchored on this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œPag-iwas sa sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa!โ€, we are reminded that safety is a shared responsibility. Daghang salamat sa atong mga bumbero for your service, dedication, and for inspiring our communities in more ways than one.

Stepping away from the noise, I took a quick 25-minute flight to Iloilo, the Culinary Capital of the Philippines.

From comforting bowls of La Paz Batchoy to the delicate flavors of Pancit Molo, and local favorites like KBL (Kadyos, Baboy, Langka) and fresh diwal, every bite felt like a homecoming.

Shared this flavorful journey with my gastronomic high school classmates, where good food and even better company made the trip truly unforgettable. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ’›

Productive walk-through inside the Cebu Provincial Multipurpose Gym with Mr. Paulo Uy, together with Kap Ging-Ging Muaรฑa and Kons Sammy Geron of Barangay Lahug.

This project traces back to the administration of former governor Hilario Davide III, with its groundbreaking held in 2018. The facility was envisioned as a hub for grassroots sports training for Cebu Province athletes, while also serving as a venue for events and rentals as an income-generating property for the province.

Designed to accommodate activities equivalent to two basketball courts, the complex aims to strengthen sports development and community engagement. In coordination with the Provincial Government through the office of Governor Pam Baricuatro, ongoing discussions are being explored on the possibility for Barangay Lahug to also utilize the gym in the future.

Human sa kapoy nga dagan, namahaw mi og lab-as nga isda gikan sa Pasil. Perfect post-run meal!

Daghang salamat, Precy, sa pag-andam ani para namo. Sulit gyud ang kapoy sa dagan kung ing-ani ka lami ang pamahaw. ๐Ÿ˜‹

Finished strong today at the SM2SM 21KM run! Grateful for the strength, endurance, and determination that carried me through every kilometer. Running is not just about crossing the finish line, itโ€™s about discipline, consistency, and taking care of our health.

Importante kaayo ang sports and physical activity sa atong adlaw-adlaw nga kinabuhi. It keeps our bodies strong, clears our minds, and reminds us that we are capable of more than we think. Dili kinahanglan nga running lang, it can be walking, biking, swimming, hiking, or any sport that keeps you moving.

Sa akong mga fellow Cebuanos, letโ€™s make time for sports and an active lifestyle. Lihok ta! Small steps today can lead to a healthier and stronger tomorrow. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

One step at a time, one kilometer at a time, padayon lang ta.
