Gimanduan hinuon sa atong Kapitan, Hon. Michelle U. Sumilhig ang atong mga BHW nga nga sa Barangay Hall sa temporaryo nga mag duty aron padayon ang serbisyo nga pang medikal.

Padayon kita nga magmainampuon ug magbinantayon sa tanan nga higayon.

Naka stand by karong gabhiuna ang atong mga maabtikong mga tanod sa panguho sa atong Chief Tanod na si Antonio Panangganan sa atong barangay hall.

Sa pagkasara, nakasinati ang atong barangay sang kusog nga uwan kag hangin.

Padayun gihapon kita sa pagmatngon kag pag-amping!

Our recent Medical Caravan provided FREE medical consultation, X-ray, and family planning services to over 100 individuals in need.

Also, we're thrilled to announce that 43 generous individuals successfully donated blood out of 63 screened donors, while 20 were deferred.

The Local Government Unit of Barangay Hilotongan would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to all the blood donors, to the very dedicated medical team and volunteers, Barangay Tanods, Barangay Health Workers, Purok Leaders and Hilotongan Integrated School Faculty and Staff for helping together in making a difference in the lives of our fellow citizens!

Ang atong labing gihuwat nga MEDICAL CARAVAN, padung na sa Barangay Hilotongan.

Magkita-kita kita sa Sto. Niño Chapel ug Sto. Niño Basketball Court karong umaabot nga Septiyembre 9, 2025, Martes nga adlaw alang sa ipahigayon nga libreng Medical Caravan.

Niining maong adlawa, adunay Medical Consultation nga pagahimuon nga limitado lamang alang sa 30 ka mga residente (30 SLOTS ONLY). Ipahigayon usab niining adlawa ang laing libre nga mga serbisyo sama sa Family Planning, ug Pap Smear.

Laing hugna sa Mobile Blood Donation Drive ang pagahimuon sa susamang adlaw maong kami nag awhag sa makausab sa mga katawhan nga ganahan mo-donate sa ilang dugo sa pagpalista dayon sa inyong mga BHW kada purok aron mahatagan ug mga tips o advices sa saktong buhaton aron mamahimong Successful Blood Donor.

Our Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) headed by their president, Mrs. Raquel B. Apawan, NDP Mrs. Mary Claire V. Osiones and RHM Mrs. Cherrylyn L. Pulmones were on the front lines, conducted entomological surveys to track and prevent mosquito-borne diseases in our community!

JULY 19, 2025 | Public Hearing

YESTERDAY, we held a crucial public hearing and gathered the members of Purok Kapayas to discuss the proposed ordinance prohibiting "pairing" and other forms of gambling in Barangay Hilotongan that affect the welfare of the youth.

The principal author of the ordinance, Hon. Ferdinand Saysis Jr. along with the sponsor Hon. Berbino A. Layague were present in the said activity.

Also present to give their full support to the newest ordinance are the Punong Barangay Hon. Michelle U. Sumilhig, SK Chairperson Hon. Panchovilla Escala Jr., VAWC Desk Officer Mrs. Jenelyn Villacampa, Chief Tanod Mr. Antonio Panangganan and Bantayan's MSWDO Head Mr. Rumolo Velasquez.

The latter led the discussion towards a safer community.
