This is in response to the recent post of Cebu Contractors Association, Inc. regarding the 32-Hour Standard First Aid and BLS Training conducted in partnership with the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CCDRRMO

The Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CCDRRMO) categorically and vehemently denies any claim that it collects, demands, or receives payment for training programs, including First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) activities.

CCDRRMO does not impose or authorize the collection of training fees. Any registration fees associated with activities conducted in partnership with private organizations are solely handled by the respective organizing entity and are not collected by or for CCDRRMO.

The public is advised to verify information through official CCDRRMO channels. CCDRRMO reserves the right to pursue appropriate legal remedies against any false or misleading representations regarding this matter.

Sa kalit nga hitabo karong Febrero 13, 2025, usa ka sunog ang miigo sa KQT Hauling / Trucking Services nga nahimutang sa 7th Street North Reclamation Area, Barangay Carreta. Ang alarma nadawat alas 2:48 PM ug dali kining girespondehan sa BFP Cebu City uban usab Barangay Fire Brigade Cebu City nga pinakaduol sa maong lugar anaa usab ang Tanker 1 ug Tanker 2 sa CCDRRMO.

Pag-abot sa lugar, nakita nga aktibo pa ang kalayo ug gi-deklarar nga fire on progress, hinungdan nga gipatawag dayon ang dugang nga backup gikan sa BFP Cebu City Fire Station, Barangay Fire Brigade sa North Sector, Central Sector ug mga private nga fire Brigade ilabina ang mga water tankers.

Tungod sa paspas ug koordinadong aksyon, napugngan ang pagkaylap sa sunog ug nahimo nga makontrol kini sulod sa mubo nga oras.
