The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) joins the global community in celebrating International Youth Day 2026, recognizing the vital role of young people in advancing human rights, promoting meaningful participation, and building a more inclusive and just society. ๐๐
This yearโs celebration reminded us that the youth are not merely the leaders of tomorrowโthey are partners and changemakers today. Through the morningโs Human Rights 101 lecture and open forum, the poster-making contest, lined-up activities, and the afternoonโs vibrant performances, our young people were given spaces to speak, create, participate, and act.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Partner Host, Cebu Normal University, for opening its doors and making this celebration possible.
