Camp Lapulapu, Apas, Cebu City – The Commission on Audit (COA) conducted an Exit Conference at the Headquarters 53rd Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army on March 06, 2026.

The conference was headed by Ms. Melianita S. Quirante, OIC Supervising Auditor and Audit Team Leader, together with members of the audit team, to present and discuss the audit findings and recommendations following the completion of the audit engagement.

Officers of the 53rd Engineer Brigade, including the Resource Manager and Commanding Officers of catered units, attended the meeting to address audit matters and ensure compliance with government regulations.

In his closing remarks, BGEN JOEL N SOBRERA PA, Commander of the 53rd Engineer Brigade, highlighted the importance of the exit conference in promoting transparency, accountability, and sound financial management within the organization.
