Good day, Teknoys!

The opportunity to step forward and lead the student body of 𝑪𝑰𝑻-𝑼 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒓 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 has officially come to an end. The filing of the Certificate of Candidacy concluded last March 27, 2026.

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) extends its sincere appreciation to all aspiring student leaders who took the courage to file their applications. May this step mark the beginning of your journey to serve with integrity, excellence, and purpose.

As stewards of the electoral process, we remain committed to upholding fairness, transparency, and the true voice of the student body.

After successfully completing their screening, facilitated by Chairwoman Pocahontas Aisha Heide together with the COMELEC officers, they now stand equipped with the 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 to uphold the credibility of the electoral process.

The application period for the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) of the CIT-U Senior High School has officially concluded.

We deeply appreciate all Grade 11 and 12 students who expressed their willingness to serve and take part in safeguarding the integrity of the upcoming Supreme Student Council Elections this April 2026.

All submitted applications will now undergo careful review and evaluation. Qualified applicants will be notified through their Outlook accounts regarding the next steps of the selection process.

A new chapter of leadership is now about to begin.

As we are about to reach the end of the academic year, it is a must that we prepare to welcome the next generation of the student leaders who will represent the voices of CIT-U Senior High School community.

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) is now officially opening 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 for the 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 – 10th Congress, S.Y. 2026–2027.

This is the right moment to rise, take responsibility, and contribute to a stronger and more united Technologian community.

We are calling on Grades 11 and 12 students who meet the following qualifications:

1. Must be a bona fide CIT-U SHS student with at least one (1) acknowledged semester of enrollment.
2. Must be unaffiliated with the current CIT-U SHS Supreme Student Council; former SSC members must have been resigned for at least two (2) semesters.
3. Must be unaffiliated with any existing political parties within the CIT-U SHS Division (e.g., ABANTE, LAMBO, etc.).
4. Must have no interest in, nor plans of, running in the upcoming SSC Elections this April 2026.
5. Must possess good moral character.

This initiative aims to strengthen the election workforce and ensure a smooth, orderly, and credible electoral process.

Election Guidelines:
Who Can Vote: Only currently enrolled Grade 11 students of CIT-University.

When to Vote: Voting is open from May 9-11, 11:59 PM. Votes outside these hours will not be counted.

How to Vote:
1. Use the Google Forms link.
2. The link will be shared on the Commission on Elections' official page and through class group chats.
3. Student ID number and institutional email are required for validation.
4. Double-check your entries!

With no opposing party this year, the event will focus on meaningful dialogue between candidates and students like you.

𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀’𝙎 𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙏𝙊 𝙀𝙓𝙋𝙀𝘾𝙏:
🔹 𝐒𝐞𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝟏:
- Introductions by COMELEC and SSC.
- Candidate self-introductions (1 minute each).
- Q&A with questions from the audience (50 seconds per answer).

🔹 𝐒𝐞𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝟐:
- Detailed platform discussions (2 minutes per candidate).
- Follow-up Q&A with student-driven questions (1 minute per answer).

🔹 𝐒𝐞𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝟑:
- Candidates’ future plans (1.5 minutes each).
- Final Q&A with SSC/COMELEC and audience follow-ups.
- Closing remarks by the SSC President.
