National Housing Authority - Region 7

The National Housing Authority VII successfully conducted the Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP) distribution in the southern municipalities of Cebu, benefitting a total of 4,823 families with 4,020 beneficiaries in Barili and 803 beneficiaries in Ronda.

The activity was graced by Ms. Ana Maria C. Ewican, Municipal Administrator of LGU-Barili, representing Hon. Mayor Pablo John D. Garcia IV, and Hon. Alfred Ricatuerta, Sangguniang Bayan Councilor of Ronda, representing Hon. Mayor Chantilli Ann Victoria L. Blanco. Their presence underscored the strong commitment and support of the respective local government units in ensuring the efficient and orderly distribution of assistance to their constituents.

The NHA extends its sincere appreciation to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Offices (MSWDOs), the Provincial Government of Cebu, and all local officials and stakeholders for their invaluable support, coordination, and dedication in making this activity possible and successful.

This initiative reflects the continued commitment of the NHA, in partnership with local government units, to deliver timely assistance and uphold the welfare and resilience of affected communities.

First Week Success for EHAP – Odette Distribution (April 2026)

NHA VII successful completed of the first week of the EHAP – Odette Distribution held on April 14 in San Francisco, Camotes Island and April 16 in Catmon, benefiting a total of 349 recipients.

The distribution activities were conducted smoothly and gracefully, made even more meaningful by the presence and support of our esteemed local leaders:

The National Housing Authority Region VII proudly culminated its National Womens Month celebration with a meaningful and vibrant set of activities dedicated to the health, empowerment, and unity of its women personnel. 💜

As part of our commitment to women’s welfare, an HPV vaccination activity was successfully conducted, promoting awareness and proactive protection against cervical cancer among NHA women employees. 💉✨

This was followed by a short yet lively program filled with inspiring messages, engaging sharing sessions, and joyful moments of camaraderie—truly reflecting the strength and spirit of empowered women in public service.

Together, we continue to build not only better housing, but also a safer, healthier, and more inclusive workplace for every woman.

🏡 Raffling and Turnover of 34 Certificates of Award in Trinidad, Bohol 🏡

A meaningful milestone was celebrated as the National Housing Authority (NHA) Region 7 – Bohol District Office, in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Trinidad, Bohol, successfully conducted the raffling and turnover of thirty-four (34) Certificates of Award to qualified beneficiaries of the Trinidad Resettlement Project Phase 1, located in Barangay Tagum Norte, Trinidad, Bohol.

This initiative is part of the Resettlement Assistance Program for Local Government Units (RAP-LGUs) of the NHA, which aims to provide financial and technical assistance to LGUs in developing safe and sustainable housing communities for informal settler families in need of relocation and resettlement.

The activity was graced by Mayor Roberto C. Cajes, Vice Mayor Joan Robie C. Imboy, MSWDO Vicky E. Cajes, and other LGU–Trinidad officials, together with Mr. Genesis Caesar C. Manalili, Officer-in-Charge of the NHA Bohol District Office; Engr. Johndhel E. Gucor, Principal Engineer A; Ms. Lolibel N. Apatan, Senior CSSO; Mr. Vic Christian G. De La Torre, Acting Estate Supervisor B; and the grateful beneficiaries of the project.

NHA Releases ₱14.8M Cash Aid to Typhoon Odette Victims in Balamban & Asturias Cebu

Nearly five years after Typhoon Odette devastated Cebu and displaced thousands of families, the National Housing Authority Region VII distributed ₱14,835,000 in cash assistance through its Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP).

The distribution, spearheaded by NHA Region VII Manager Engr. Hermes Jude D. Juntilo under the leadership of NHA General Manager Joeben A. Tai, was held on January 15, 2026, at the Mayor Esperanza S. Binghay Memorial Sports and Cultural Center in Poblacion, Balamban, Cebu.

A total of 1,544 families received ₱10,000 each to support the repair of their totally damaged houses. Of these, 1,144 beneficiaries were from Balamban, while 400 were from Asturias, based on validated DSWD-DROMIC reports.

The event was graced by Cebu Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro, represented by Atty. Jimbo Borgonia; Balamban Mayor Amos Edwin C. Cabahug; and Asturias Mayor Dana Andrew M. Dumdum, represented by Vice Mayor Reine Yaras.

The successful conduct of the activity was made possible through the combined efforts of NHA personnel, the Cebu People’s Action Center (CPAC), and the concerned local government units.
