Last April 25, 2025, the newly elected Student Body Organization officers for the Academic Year 2025–2026 conducted an orientation with the Constitutional Commission aspirants. Outgoing department heads were also present to share insights regarding the duties and responsibilities associated with their respective commissions.

The incoming Governor, Amanda Cabusas, shared her vision and words of encouragement to inspire the aspirants as they embark on their leadership journey.

This orientation is a required step in the application process. Attendance will be strictly monitored.

On March 18, 2025, the Commission on Student Elections (COMSELEC) upheld fairness and transparency, ensuring the integrity of the election process. Votes from STEM Health, STEM AEIT, and ABM strands were carefully tallied, leading to the official announcement of winners at the ABA Lobby, 3rd Floor.

The 2025 SBO Elections reflect the student body's collective voice and commitment to democracy.

MEMORANDUM NO. 2025-07: Voter Percentage Qualifications for the 2025 SHS SBO Elections

The Southwestern University PHINMA Senior High School Commission on Student Elections (COMSELEC) has issued Memorandum No. 2025-07 to uphold the integrity of the electoral process following the registration of only one party-list, SINAG, for the 2025 SHS SBO Elections. In accordance with COMSELEC Memorandum No. 2024-06, a 50% voter turnout requirement is enforced, requiring each candidate to secure a minimum of 524 votes from the 1,047 Grade 11 students to be officially elected. Failure to meet this requirement will result in a special election, as determined by COMSELEC. This measure ensures fairness, transparency, and inclusivity in the electoral process

The official Silent Days have commenced, running from March 9 to March 14, 2025. This crucial phase of the election process signifies the suspension of all campaign activities and the removal of campaign materials.
